They are saying ST is underperforming ? in my eyes its the only thing holding DTV to a full collapse, see how many subscribers they have been losing the past few years. If they really don't renew its over for DTV. I guess Dish is gonna finally be able to merge with DTV now...

Streamers better figure out a way to reduce to a minimum the live delay on their feeds.

Of course its underperforming DTV paid 4 billion for it in like 2016 or 2017. DTV has been in a downward spiral since AT&T bought them out. Jacking the price of Sunday Ticket to 400 USD didnt help the situation. There equipment policies are crap, and charging 6-7 dollars per month per box after charging you 100+ for equipment is just god awful. I think we can all agree picture looks the best on DTV but at this point the writing is on the wall they are done.

And as far as the live delay on streaming most streamers are 10 seconds behind live which is a requirement for live broadcasts in case they need to cut away or dump due to profanity or something major happening.

They have all the leverage right now with people who don’t live in the market of their respective team. It’s either pay their price or don’t see your team. As others have said, once they lose NFL Sunday Ticket they are going to lose a lot of customers.

Being able to see almost every Cowboys game for free continues to be one of the few perks of living in this craphole of a town. It's also one of the reasons I balk at moving out of the TX/NM area.

I live in NJ & still get 11-12 cowboys games a yr between national 4:25 games / vs nyg / vs nyj / mnf / snf / tnf / thanksgiving.
Guess that could be 12-13 now with 17 games.
Thats 1 of the fun things when the sched comes out next wk i figure out how many games i should get here.

I had ST but fios came out with a triple bundle deal (tv internet phone) so i switched.
I actually like redzone channel better anyways - with ST always felt like i was missing action somewhere else.
Now with redzone they show everything live or on slight delay.

Also ST you can call & get it for free.

There was a certain number to call to get you to best dept + call early in wk/mnth when they havent hit their discount quota yet.
I know when i had it first 2 yrs i paid $100 but the last 4 yrs i got it free.

DTV has Redzone, in fact they have a special unique Redzone channel but its in the MAX portion of DTV. The one thing DTV had for Sunday ticket which was good is the 2-4 or 8 game on 1 screen option. Where DTV fell short was the ability to select which games are on the 4 game screen.

DTV and fantasy football options were awesome as well in terms of selecting your fantasy team and getting updates.

I am to a point where I want a sports viewing room to see 4+ games at a time but at this point I cant justify 400 dollars much less buying DTV separate from cable.

If Sunday Ticket goes streaming I may consider buying again.

I can already emulate this setup with College easy.
