This whole Sherman thing is worse than originally reported; he drank two bottle of liquor, was threatening to harm himself, making suicide threats, etc. Not good.

Agreed, the 911 call was pretty disturbing, not only due to what Sherman's wife was saying but also the tone used by the 911 operator. IMO, they really shouldn't make those calls public.

Yeah Sherman always gave off a scumbag vibe, I wouldn't be surprised if his NFL career is over.

I wouldn't say his career is necessarily over, other guys have done worse
If anything he will probably remain unsigned until he has some kind of resolution with his legal status, joins with someone in need of a CB or S in the middle of the season or next season.
I thought a reunion in SEA was in the cards, I still think its a possibility but probably not anytime soon now

I would hope their focus is on encouraging him to get the proper counseling and medical care he needs. Mental health is just as important as one’s physical health, but unfortunately there still tends to be a stigma when someone seeks help.

Generally speaking it's still taboo for men to seek behavioral health services. It's considered a sign of weakness in society and men are not supposed to display signs of weakness. That's gradually changing, as the boomers age out and generation X and the millennials begin to take over.
