Just got home from the Pats game. Sucks to lose like that by one point but I'm excited about how Mac looks. Few things to clean up and this can be a great team!!

Cleveland relied on its 1-2 running game, which is arguably one of the league’s best running tandems. Baker completed 21 out of 28 attempts for 321 yards. He had 1 interception which was at the very end of the game. If you don’t think he played great, then you don’t know football. He’s not a defensive player, so no, he did not blow a 12 point lead.

As a Steeler fan I'm very nervous about the Browns this year. They looked good even in a lost. Should have won.

I made approximately $4.40 this week on Draft Kings.

That's enough for two McChickens. (never count your McChickens before they hatch, when it comes to expected winnings on Draft Kings)

Oh and I won $65 in contest tickets, which in my hands might as well be denominated in Rich Uncle Pennybags Monopoly money because winning money consistently in daily fantasy sports is nearly impossible.

I actually know more than just the Cowboys and Dak. I hold #1 overall picks to higher standards than other players, especially when 4th rounders like Dak and 6th rounders like Brady are playing so much better than Crybaby Baker has so far.

As a Chiefs fan, what did I learn after the first game:

1) Tyrann Mathieu will get paid.

2) The Browns can beat the Chiefs

3) Andy needs to take more chances (4th and 2 on Browns 10 at home) with Mahomes.

4) A very young (2 rookies and a "red shirt") OL looked good for most of the game. They showed a lot of promise against one of the better DLs.

Seahawks had a really impressive performance against the Colts. Hoping we carry it onto next week against the Titans. I really have a good feeling about this years squad. Too bad the NFC West is a literal hellscape. Who knows what's going to happen when the division games start.

Raheem Mostert likely out for 8 weeks. Jason Verrett likely out for the season (again) with a torn ACL. The 49ers secondary is going to be their Achilles heel again this season.
