Is it safe for me and my son to watch the NFL again? I heard no one is kneeling for the anthem anymore (that made me uncomfortable). I also hear they are cracking down on the poor sportsmanship that I don't want me kids to see. I'm a huge Ben Roethlisberger fan so hopefully I can watch him again soon.

Honestly wasn’t sure if this post was satire or part of a script for a remake of “The Boy in the Plastic Bubble”?

If you’re worried about Americans expressing their civil rights or acts of poor sportsmanship in sports, it’s best to never turn on your tv.
Most sports don’t even show the anthem nowadays until the playoffs start. You can choose to skip the first several minutes of a game to make sure you miss the anthem, I guess.

It’s always best to be the adult in a relationship with your child and explain situations to them so that they understand what’s going on. You can’t avoid bad things or people all your life. They exist. Use your wisdom to teach your son the difference between right and wrong as you see it.

Better watch Big Ben as much as you can. His career is nearly over and he’s still very fun to watch.

Big Ben is one of the few pro athletes left that plays the game the right way and respects women and the troops.

Of course. But then again I also watch football, not for the violent hits or to see concussions rear their ugly head. Not for the plays, the call, the chess matches we see from various coaches.

I want to see sportsmanlike conduct. And respect towards women. Who aren't on the field of play (nothing more respecting about women than those cheerleaders outfits and salaries). And something about the national anthem, which also isn't a part of the game.

But then again these posts are made just made to get a rise out of people. 100%.
