Heads up for officially-licensed sports apparel fans, General Mills/Betty Crocker is offering a $50 Fanatics coupon code with the purchase of 4 select General Mills products. Any size/SKU in that brand family.

I bought 4 Chex Mix for $4 and got my code about a day after I texted it. You have to text the picture of the receipt and some other info (birthday).

As always, you can only use one coupon code at a time at Fanatics.

Thank you!

Thanks so much man. I'll just get 4 boxes of kids' cereal and then use the coupon to get Cowboys stuff for a massive discount.

Serious question here and not meant to offend anyone, but something I've wondered about for a while...why does the NFL continue to prop up Sean Taylor so much in his passing? There have been many NFL players that have played longer and have passed from far less curious circumstances, but for some reason the NFL still mentions his anniversary every year. I mean, to me, some of the far more tragic stories are those of players that have sustained numerous concussions over the years to later develop serious mental illnesses or rapidly deteriorating mental health only to take their own lives.

Seems like a PR move by the team to try and make them look better during the ongoing email probe. This wouldn't be happening otherwise.

That has more to do with the WFT retiring his number after 7/8 years of being inducted into their Ring of Honor. I'm talking about the NFL gushing about him every year like he was one of the greatest to ever step onto the field. Again, for sure RIP, but from reading up on the guy, it didn't seem like he was the most honorable dude to keep going on about.

Just spitballing here, but I think it has to do with the shock of his death at the time.

Yeah, I mean I hear ya and again it is sad cuz he was so young, but dude wasn't exactly an angel and originally got shot in the leg (artery) by a burglar. Tragic yes, but contrast that with Dave Duerson from the vaunted '85 Bears team who was so troubled mentally from all the concussions that, in order to finally get some peace, he took his own life by shooting himself in the chest so as to preserve his brain for future CTE research, but I guess the NFL doesn't wanna remind folks about that.

No doubt that both circumstances are awful and ultimately led to loss of life and I'm not comparing but was looking for a good answer as to the reason behind the NFL chose Taylor out of all of their stable of players over the years.

Not at all! I was contemplating your post and wasn't expecting to see the other one, which made it all the more funnier. If anything, I should apologize as it killed the moment for me.

So please carry on and don't mind me.

All good, it wasn't remotely that serious, just something I wonder about every year when I see the tweets about him and I finally asked the question here.

They'll all be switching back to pneumatic tubes and paper shredders.

C'mon, man! I look forward to this presentation every week.

There's also a BYU/Baylor game on in FULL NATIVE 4K this weekend at 3:30PM on ESPN, DTV channel 108.

I don't have a single bobblehead (save for the one on my shoulders), but I want one, too! It's just beyond cool. I'm surprised it hasn't gone viral (yet).
