Such a flippant, off-putting comment. Regardless of how someone else feels about a given franchise, every team has rabid fans that put their heart, soul and hard-earned money into cheering for them and buying their gear which should not be so easily discarded regardless of the team.

not sure if you didnt notice... but I'm from MI... i am one of those fans that has put my heart and soul and hard earned money buying gear and going to games for years to watch the same result happen year after year after year...

i watched this team go 0-16... watched this team never win a playoff game in my life... watched this team drive Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson into early retirement... and now i get to potentially see another historic feat... first team to 0-17... so excuse me if as a LIONS FAN, i've had enough of the ownership and the franchise as a whole...

I get it all too well, man...I'm a Jets fan, but to say that a team should be folded is plain silly, we all know full well that the NFL plans to do precisely the opposite of that. Now, sold to new ownership...well, that's a different animal and something I've heard many times for the NYJ fan base.

At the end of the day though, we all can choose not to follow a team.
