You can’t give up though. You can’t turn your back on your boys when they need you the most. There are signs for optimism. Brad Holmes is well respected and was a strong hire. Campbell has the personality that players will fight to the bitter end for. There will be an influx of young talent from future picks. Keep the faith.

after years of high first round draft picks, GM changes, coaching changes... the results are always the same...
i appreciate you guys trying to convince me to keep the faith, but year after year, its us fans that are left with constant disappointment...

polska - a local radio show I listen to has a guy (runs a sportsbook) who has been a Lions fan all his life and made many of the same points you did. Said he's frustrated and at his wits end until the team is sold. He notes how the Ford family just runs it as a way to generate money via revenue sharing and has no real interest in seeing the team actually compete.

NO WR Michael Thomas ruled out the rest of the season

A day after OBJ's dad posted videos critical of Mayfield, Beckham out of practice today termed as a non-injury personal matter. On top of that Mayfield was not made available to speak to the media today. Apparently the Browns discussed a trade of OBJ to the Saints but that fell through. Not sure what sense that would make for the Saints anyways, having no clear cut QB. OBJ has two years left on his contract but no guaranteed money left on the deal. CLE would save $15m on their cap if they trade or release him during the offseason

He is going to jail for the next 20 it looks like, that state is one of the harsher ones towards dui deaths. Drinks, 3am and a 500hp mid engine sports car is not a good combo.

Michael Thomas is nearly needing to be arrested for grand theft contract! He signed that mega deal 5/92 and literally has done nothing since, hasn't even given the team a single touchdown for it!

Is OBJ even worth all the trouble? He had a solid three year run when he was with the Giants but hasn't really done much since.

I mean with the right QB he might be dangerous but he may also be living off of those good years you are referring to. His big contract years are probably behind him, he may be at the point where he's one 1-2 years deals or snatched up by a team looking for a potential target in the playoffs. Whatever the case, its grating that he may be released because his dumb dad posted a dumb video.
