That field goal was quietly epic.

On that same note, Mannion has been about as impressive as I could imagine with a player in his position, with the circumstances around him.

Unfortunately, it feels like the Vikings are too far behind now to actually give us a competitive SNF game.

Finally watched the All Madden special. Truly a great guy who lived for the game. I then googled “What happened to the All Madden cruise bus?” - it’s in Ohio at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, just over an hour from me. It’s been awhile since I’ve been there, guess I have a good reason amongst others to go back.

Reading the NFL 100 Years book written by Jerry Rice. So far, very good. So much of the beginning of the sport took place in Canton and Youngstown, Ohio - it’s cool that I live in such a historical place, football related.

If Cincinnati doesn’t improve their o-line for him, he’ll have an injury riddled career like Namath. He’s been sacked 51 times this year, and that’s not counting the unnecessary hits he takes every game.
