it really is a lot to give up. I mean I get that your team goes as your QB does but you still have to fill out your roster with talent.

There is a clause where if he suspended, he will lose the game check for each game. His base salary will $1 million for 2022 with a $45 million signing bonus.

I don’t really know how to feel about this. I would have liked to keep Baker and give him this upcoming season to prove himself after a poor year with injuries.

I do like how people are being well it’s the Browns being the Browns with this trade, yet forgetting that 3 other teams were trying to get him and willing to pay him similarly, just not fully guaranteed money.

I have been ignoring all the negative Niner fans online since FA started but this Jimmy G saga is now getting a little worrisome as each team trades or signs new QB's.

NO probably going to resign Jameis
SEA probably going to trade for Baker, at least thats what rumors say, Lynch wouldn't trade to a division rival anyways
So that leaves ATL, CAR and HOU in need of a QB?

I realize there's still the draft coming up and someone can also always get injured in the offseason, preseason, but this is dragging out a bit too long. Should've had a deal (at least in principle) lined up as soon as the start of the league year
