He came into camp way out of shape, not shocking to hear this to be honest. I know Boomer Esiason has been riding this kid hard on the morning show in NYC the last few months.

He was a bit overweight in OTAs and worked his ass off to show up to camp looking good. Might have tried to do too much too fast rather than stay in decent shape the entire time, but doesn't matter now. Boomer has turned into a media goon.

NFL plans Black Friday game in 2023

Thanksgiving has long been one of the biggest days on the NFL calendar, but soon the day after Thanksgiving will get in on the action as well.

The NFL is planning to play a Black Friday game in 2023, John Ourand of Sports Business Journal reports. It would presumably become part of the regular NFL schedule after that.

Amazon Prime Video will stream the game. Amazon already has the Thursday Night Football package, but that package does not include any of the three Thanksgiving games, which are televised by Fox, CBS and NBC. Amazon is expected to pay something approaching $100 million for the rights to stream that single game on a Friday.

The game will likely be played during the afternoon, as the league can’t televise prime time games on Friday nights in November as part of its antitrust exemption.

Right!? I have loved the Campbell hire since day 1. He’s going to get us there. And Williams… I wasn’t expecting that speech but loved it.

Tough to tell when he can't stay healthy. This could be a blessing in disguise cuz now he finally knows what it takes to rehab and come back from an injury and he still has a few more years on his rookie contract, he just has to stay motivated.

I watched the first episode of Hard Knocks. Two rookies had to entertain and embarrass themselves in front of their coaches & teammates. One rookie sang Billie Jean & the other danced.

Not a big Goff fan, but definitely looking forward to seeing what DET does this season, it'd be cool to see them make some noise in the NFC.

Goff isn’t terrible, but not great. He can definitely win games and do enough. He has players around him, along with a defense that can play. Not saying either side is elite, but we should be competitive in just about every game. FWIW, Goff did have the Rams in the SB one year.

I definitely expect Detroit to shock some people, since most people want to overlook them.

I have nothing against Goff, but I always chuckled watching him stand at the line of scrimmage waiting for McVay to break things down for him.

NO NO NO ppl need to stop with this shit right here. Playoffs or nothing. Make it to the playoffs 2-3 consecutive years win or lose guess what thats a step forward. I have had season of 8+ wins it means nothing, 2-3 years of playoff maybe hosting a playoff game even for the first time in franchise history then thats a step forward.
