I'm so tired of this "I've been hacked" nonsense everytime someone makes a bad tweet or Facebook post. It's the new "my dog ate my homework."

If hacking of pro athletes accounts was so easy and widespread why don't we ever hear about Tom Brady or Peyton Manning having their accounts hacked with unauthorized posts? If hacking were so widespread I'm sure plenty of fans would love to steal a big name player's login info and post inflamatory comments just before a big game.

Really? I hate those games. NFL football is meant to be played on Sunday and Monday. Thursday night games just throw teams out of synch.

Thursday night game means that I can watch 1 more game every week. Since the Dolphins usually play at 1pm on Sunday, that means I can't watch any of the other 7 or 8 games played at same time.

I have to agree I love the Thursday game, problem is now the NFL is going to be infringing on some of the College games you usually don't get to see. I get NFL sunday ticket so it really dont matter when the game is played.

As for the CBA if all goes well it should be ratified by the 30th which would put things back on schedule very quickly in time for camps.

Evidently they jumped the gun on the 16 thursday games in 2012.
Now they say it wont start until 2014 to tie in with the new tv deals starting then.

Should add it can still be done for 2012 but the NFL would have to adjust their contracts with CBS/FOX to compensate for their loss of games.
They did it before when the 2nd redzone channel was created for NFLN so their is a precedence but dont know if they would it again

I watched a Q&A with Tony Sparano and Jeff Ireland and the season tickets holders yesterday and pretty much every question was about the QB situation. I think a lot of fans will be pissed if the Dolphins cannot find a decent starting Quarterback.

The Ravens have moved their training camp to their own facility due to the labor uncertainty. Previously training camp had been held at McDaniel College since the franchise moved to Baltimore in 1996. Fans will not be allowed to attend practice at the Ravens facility like they always have at McDaniel. If the lockout doesn't end in the next couple weeks several other teams will have to move their training camps to their own facilities as well.

Yeah, they need a quarterback, Chad Henne is awful and they have not found a good quarterback since Marino retired

Sports business journal says 2012 is now back on again for the 16 thursday games....1st 8 games to highest bidder while last 8 stay with NFLN.

Seems NFL can pull games from cbs/fox current tv deal so that makes 2012 viable.

I really despise Thursday games. I could see them moving some to Saturday, but Thursday is just ridiculous. It throws all the scheduling off. Sometimes you play on Sunday and then 3 rest days later you're playing again. It gets even worse in the event that they were both road games, and even far worse still if you had to play Monday night football and Thursday. (Which is rare but has happened)

A few Saturday games after NCAAF regular season is over would be much appreciated though. Just don't schedule against bowl games.

Saturday is no good because its a bad tv nite while thursday is the 2nd most watched nite of the week so advertisers love it.

They used to show Saturday games during the afternoon during December once the college season was done. Now they just show one or two a year in late-December and have them in prime time. I'm a fan of Thursday and Saturday games because it's just more time to spend watching NFL games.

Except that a lot of fans (or even bars) won't get NFLN because its too expensive for only 8-12 games a year. So basically it just makes us have less to watch. Don't get me wrong, if they showed EVERY game on it i would get cable and get it. But it's usually just their exclusive games.
