Which is kind of silly imo. Even with Jimmy i don't see the hawks being very competitive against stacked teams like the 49ers.

Welp, EVERYBODY whiffed on the Jimmy G situation...he's staying in SF as the highest paid back up QB in the league.

EDIT: Forgot to include that he has a no-tag, no-trade clause now.

man even the Niner beat writers didn't see this coming. I think the Niners always wanted this to be along the lines of Mahomes and Smith in KC but Smith didn't have the contract that Jimmy did before it was restructured.
Whatever the case, great insurance plan in case something happens with Trey.
