5 is the scheduled max.
But can be flexed into 2 more to make 7.
Can actually be flexed into an 8th but only in wk 18.

They should, it is a terrible hiring and nothing against Jeff Saturday but he has had like 3 years coaching experience at the high school level and was a 500 coach at that! It is a joke that he just jumped right into a head coaching spot, i feel comfortable in stating he didn't earn it and shouldnt of gotten it!

And no POCs interviewed to satisfy the Rooney Rule either. Also, imagine if you're on that staff, don't get a shot at an interview and then realizing you're probably looking for a job next year.

I think the key word here is interim coach. The way I read it is Saturday is just a stop gap until they finish out the season. Then the real interviews will start for a permanent HC.
