After the Niner game I was off to a concert out of town so I didn't get to see KC-CIN live but was checking in when I could. Man I know NFL twitter can be a bit much but this postseason seems like they took it up a notch as after every game "NFL rigged" was trending. I have always been of the opinion that bad calls are just part of the game, happens to all team but some stuff this postseason is just headscratchingly bad.

As far as the SB, gotta root for the Chiefs mainly for the fact that Eagles fans have been insufferable since yesterday. Not taking anything away from the season they had and all of their talent on both sides of the ball but they played a SF team with half their playbook unavailable to them. No fault of the Eagles because both teams play the hand their dealt but while I am not convinced the Niners would've won (this game had me nervous all week) I do think it would've played out a lot differently. Oh well, thats life. I am bummed for the team especially after losing Trey, then Jimmy, finding something special with Brock.

Speaking of next season, Demeco is expected to become HC in HOU. Good for him, he did a great job here with the talent he had but oh man does he have some work to do there.
Oh and whoever brought up Brady to MIA earlier, there was just a report yesterday that MIA is not interested and are committed to Tua, who by the way is still in concussion protocol.
The Brady to Dolphins talk was a pipedream before McDaniel was hired and the talk was pairing Brady with Payton there but that ship has sailed.
Can't say I am surprised Payton is still out there, seems like he may be waiting for the DAL job but I am not sure why he would want to work under Jerry.
Oh and back to Brady, with all the Niners QB troubles this season, some beat writers are already speculating Niners should kick the tires on bringing him in next season since the window is now for the rest of the roster and they are just a healthy QB away. I doubt it will happen but who knows what John and Kyle are thinking with everything that has gone down.
Also yesterday more rumors swirling that GB may be looking to move on from Rodgers this offseason.

I'll be rooting for KC, but I really wouldn't mind Philly winning either, in spite of their fans. I really like Jalen Hurts, a selfless player, and really admired his attitude when he played for Alabama and lost his starting job. He could be scary good in a few years if he keeps improving like this.

Also have some Strava friends that live in Philly, and wouldn't mind seeing them happy. However, I really like Mahomes and Kelce as well and the Chiefs, and the hatred I see on the boards just makes me like them more. So one of those few Super Bowls where I don't really hate either team.

Apparently the Chargers think so highly of Kellen Moore that he can become their offensive coordinator one day after he and the Cowboys "mutually part ways."

Rumor was TB was also interested so maybe that's why LAC moved fast.

If a coach gets fired yesterday and gets hired the next by a different team, then maybe he shouldn't have been fired in the first place lol

They would really have to change their offense for the immobile Brady

Everything I’ve read about him is that he is super respected around the league. Still find it pretty silly Dallas wants to give McCarthy more power and responsibility.

He wasn't fired, they mutually parted ways. The way he landed with a new team that quick it might've been his plan all along.

It's amazing how NFL coaches just bounce from team to team year in and year out.

Now do scoring and EPA in his play-off games.

Dak throwing horrible picks and forcing balls into super tight coverage isnt his fault.

Exactly. There is also a lot of folks saying that there were times in key moments in games that it was obvious that Mike was exerting his influence on the offense. Those instances usually didn't end well.

When you see the refs acting up like that in a close game, it's time to live bet

huh? aside from the two games Trey started the offense has never been tailored to a mobile QB. As it is the offense it tailored to quick, short passes to their skill players who are expected to rack up the YAC, which would ideally be a good fit for Brady.
Whatever the case, I don't think this is actually gonna happen.
Brock is going to have an MRI today, hopefully its not a tear requiring Tommy John surgery.
The expectation is for Brock and Trey to compete in camp and keep them both on the roster as the team knows all too well the importance of keeping solid backups.

MIA hires Vic Fangio as new DC.

Damn, he could beast with the talent they have. Imagine the Phins with a top 10 defense and a healthy Tua next year.
