What a tragic decision that has forever changed his life after it already cost the lives of others.

I still think after all this they are only atm misdemeanor charges which are less then getting pinched with a joint. I would think with 2 deaths this might net a more severe punishment but as it stands now this is going to be a slap on the wrist if even that.

And I can't sit here and be hypocritical and say how could he, because literally myself and anyone i knew in high school use to race around in their cars back in the day like jack asses! I would probably be dead today if i had access to a car like a trackhawk in my stupid years!

This is why imo giving money to college aged kids is going to be a terrible thing for these players in the long run. If they don't start setting boundaries as to what and how much of said money is available to them, these kind of situations will continue to happen and more then likely increase in frequency of them.

What are the chances his draft stock just dropped.... Lying to Police, leaving the scene of a fatal crash, yeah ... just cost himself millions of dollars if hes even drafted at all.

How did you team do?? Mine not so good but surprising lots of good teams ranked low on this list. The players are the ones who compiled the grade rankings here and this could very well come into play with some choices free agents have to make in the future.

Well right, yeah it's the charges of racing but also leaving the scene of an incident that resulted in two deaths one of which was one of his own dang teammate.

Absolutely, we've all done stupid stuff as kids, but the vast majority of us most likely weren't on the career trajectory that he was on, especially on the precipice of what looked to be a promising NFL career on the heels of a stellar college career.

Yep, as always, money is the root of all evil and even more so when it comes to collegiate athletics.

But WAS had an A+ in strength and conditioning so there's always that!

WAS also had two F- which I didn't think was even possible, but leave it to a Daniel Snyder owned team to pull off that feat! Nowhere to go but up I guess?

Between the dump of a stadium the prior owner built, and the current ownership, not surprising to see them dead last. What is kind of shocking is seeing the Chiefs and them ranking near the bottom.

He will most likely still be a 1st round pick since the charges are misdemeanors. However, i highly doubt hes a top 5 pick anymore.

Its been the talk of the local media this am. I will say there is a long term plan that the Royals will be moving to a downtown stadium and the Chiefs will be building a new stadium (probably next door to the existing Arrowhead).

But, just have benches in the training facility lock rooms is just cheap.

I've been once......years ago for the Chiefs vs I Don't Remember. I took a group of customers to the Hall, Dinner and Game

Things that struck me:

1) The hall is right off the highway surrounded by modest neighborhoods (all around). The parking was limited to paying ppl to park on their yard....since the lot was full of NFL personnel and media. If I remember that field the Hall of Fame game is played on is typically used as a high school field. I'd say a very modest high school program. Mind you this was early 2000's ....things may have been upgraded.

2) There weren't many restaurant options near the Hall/field.

3) As we were walking back to our cars to grab a bite, I saw Lamar Hunt and his wife (Clark Hunt runs the Chiefs now for the family) walking to their car (parked in the yard of a homeowner). I stopped our group and told him I was from KC and hosting a customer event. He couldn't have been nicer, talked to us for a while and thanked the customers with a handshake for attending.

4) There was a large tent of collectables focusing on those going into the hall. You'll see a fair number of past players wandering around and being dropped off during the day at the front door of the hall.

5) It poured down rain (sheets) and they cancelled the it mid-game.

It was worth seeing the hall and game. I'm sure it's been improved even more.

Wow, very cool experience you had! I hope to experience something similar. I think we'll plan to hit the festivities/game on Thursday, hit the Rock and Roll HoF on Friday and then back to Canton on Saturday for the enshrinement ceremonies and then home on Sunday.
