I don’t think it’s collusion, they just aren’t going to do what the Browns did with Watson.

Will be hilarious if this backfires on Baltimore. At a point, if someone else comes close to what the Ravens are offering, Lamar may choose the alternative if he feels the offer from Baltimore, the whole saga, was disrespectful.

tcripe, you think your Hawks move this years first rounder, draft a different need or still go with a QB. If no QB, you guys still have some other future picks from DEN to go that route later down the line right?

If Anthony Richardson is there at 5 the hawks will draft him. Then they’ll stick him behind Geno for 1 or 2 like mahomes did with Alex Smith. If he’s not there, then I see us drafting the best pass rusher available. I don’t see a reality where we trade out of 5.

But if its close to what BAL offered then BAL would just match it & keep him.

Yeah but it kind of is if at these owner meetings this has been discussed by all the owners who came to an agreement to not give in. That seems likely here, because look at the insanity land of money being thrown at mids right now like Carr and Jones. If Jones is worth 40 a year it is hard to argue against 50+ for a guy like Lamar.

I don’t think the yearly average was the issue between Baltimore and Lamar. It’s how much of it is guaranteed.
