Dak leads with 30 and even guys like Jordan love and Baker Mayfield have 27 and 26

Recent QBs who have won MVP had around 40+ td's passing/running

This is the best year to give it to a non QB

Aaron Schatz is on VSIN he has 1 of the 50 MVP votes.
He always says he just cant see voting for a non qb because the qb is is so important & if he thinks that way you know others do too.

Also this yr theres a new system so instead of voting for just 1 person they vote 1 thru 5.
So if someone doesnt vote lamar 1st theres a good chance hes 2nd or 3rd.
CMC & tyreek votes could be all over the place 1 thru 5 or none.
So lamar should have the advantage in racking up cumulative pts.

You could also argue with nobody putting up super stats this yr it makes his lesser stats not as much a factor.

& he is the current betting fav & that usually turns out correct by end of season.

This graph to me represents the Chiefs season right now.

Well they have mistake prone old man Kelce and Rashee Rice as weapons for Mahomes right now. Also all else aside, he's not having the kind of season people expect from the best QB in football.

I think his offensive line is more of an issue then weapons. Kelce though is no longer worth what he is making imo, the guy has slowed down a good couple notches this year it looks like to me, either that or he has been playing injured because he looks slow to me. His cap numbers jump a good bit over the next 2 seasons too, wonder if he might find himself cut the year after next if his decline continues and his cap hit increases.

Facts are they need the money to fix their issues, this is where Mahomes will be separated from Tom Brady if he doesn't give back someway to have an easier QB life. Or he can continue to run around like a chicken with his head cut off with a JAG offensive line...

Yeah I know, the offensive line affects so much, even if the QB doesn't get sacked. In our wins this year generally the offensive line played well. Offensive line gets killed on the road, not sure if it's a talent issue(probably) or a communication issue. Saw several times where the backup LT let the rusher run right by him to Dak so that to me says communication issue as well.

Kelce should just put a ring on it & retire.
What a life he could live.
& as i said a few wks ago the fact that Taylor cant be at the super bowl anyway is an omen.

Mr. unlimited has been limited.

Russell Wilson benched so contract triggers don't put Broncos in a bad spot.

Just reading on that Russ benching makes financial sense for them short term but long term looks like they are stuck with him. If they cut him they take a $85m cap hit for the 24 and 25 seasons.

NYG starting Tyrod Taylor over Tommy DeVito

WAS starting Jacoby Brissett over Sam Howell.
A lot of talk about KC struggles on offense - no WR's, Kelce fading but what about the fact they don't have Bienemy? He had Howell leading the league in passing up until a few weeks ago. Rivera likely on his way out so I imagine Bienemy is in line for the HC position there.

Bienemy broke Howell, kid was taking a historic number of sacks back there. He also wasn't using Scary Terry correctly or Jahan Dotson. Might be the most overrated OC in the league not named Kellen Moore.

Don't sleep on rams or browns. Stafford and Flacco can definitely get hot for a few games they've done so before

Browns have the defense and the running game but they will probably need more from Flacco in January.

Seahawks pulled off the biggest fleece of all time. Almost feel bad for the Broncos.

Worst trades I can think of - Russell Wilson and Herschel Walker. Can't remember if Texans got anything for Deshaun Watson.

The Deshaun Watson trade was as awful for Cleveland as Russell Wilson was for Denver.

What the Texans received:
2022 first-round pick: G Kenyon Green (via trade)
2023 first-round pick: DE Will Anderson Jr. (via trade)
2024 first-round pick: TBD
2023 third-round pick: WR Tank Dell (via trade)
2024 fifth-round pick: TBD
