sure its easy to say that but when its happening, adrenalin, body momentum, hard to gauge how/where the ball might bounce, its not a given. making that play isn't all that common that's why everyone goes wild when it does happen.
that one play didn't change the game, can't say their ST failed esp considering the rest of the ST game stats.

Seems like we wanted Ben Johnson or Mike Macdonald and we couldn't hire either of them because they were still in the playoffs. Ben Johnson announced he's staying with the Lions so it seems like Macdonald is the only choice at this point. Second interview with him today. We will see what happens

Has nothing to do with the sport and everything to do with gambling and fantasy IMO, but more so gambling now that it is legal in many states.

But baseball has that & just had the least watched world series ever.

March Madness which is a huge betting event the Final 4 was the least watched ever & the tourney overall was down from last yr.

is there any data to support this? I mean football just seems to just be popular and has tv ratings to see to support this.
If we are just speaking anecdotally, I don't know anyone - friends, family, neighbor coworkers - who gamble, few play fantasy.

man locking him up for six years too. do you think you guys need the defensive side of the ball stressed? Are you good with Geno as QB still? He had nice revival under Pete but do you think that carries over with Mike? I always assumed he was a stopgap until you guys drafted and developed someone but that doesn't appear to be the case.

We need all of the help possible on Defense. Geno will probably be our QB next season but i dont see much of a future with him after next season.

Only way i could ever see Bill come back as a coordinator is if his son gets a head coaching job somewhere. His main reason for not retiring is to break the win record, he doesn't accomplish that as a defensive coordinator. I also dont see him taking the job with the sole intent to become the head coach if the team fails, Bill just doesn't strike me as someone who would do that.

DAL interviewing Riverboat Ron for their DC vacancy

The Quinn WAS hire seems weird to me. Usually new owners want a big name, big get or go the opposite way with a wunderkind, instead they went the uninspired, retread route. I guess there really isn't anything there roster wise to get excited about besides McClaurin.
Did Bienemy even get an interview? Makes his decision to leave KC look even more baffling now.

Bienemy is just a solid OC, his Redskins offense wasn't anything to write home about, although in his defense most offenses won't work without a good QB.
