I trust in Lynch and Shanny until they prove me otherwise. Seems like short term Pearsall will be WR3 or WR4, PR/KR, a swiss army knife for his rookie season but Aiyuk and Jennings are only signed through this season so he can move up the depth chart depending on what happens with everyone else contracts next offseason.
But after the pick was made last night a lot of insiders were saying that the Niners are listening to offers for both Aiyuk and Deebo but would be more likelier to move on from Deebo.
I love these guys and the team, I wish they could stay together but understand financially it’s just not going to be possible.

Overall, nothing to get too excited about in this year’s draft imo. Giving away two 5th rd picks to move up and draft a RB…..big wtf moment right there. One things for sure, the 49ers are going to look a lot different next season. As for Samuel and Aiyuk, in a perfect world the 49ers keep both. One of them is definitely gone after this season, but both of them leaving is a possibility. If I had to choose (I’m glad I don’t, this is tough) I would keep Aiyuk and trade Deebo and the only reason why is Samuel is injured every year.

He is a good signing imo, the guy was pretty good for the Patriots last year considering the dumpster fire the offense was.

OBJ is all done imo, he barely moved the needle last season on a good team that could of used him.

Najee was done in college, drafting a new RB motivated him to play a bit harder again last year though.

The 3.9 average is not what they are looking for. He is going to have to prove it to get another contract. I doubt he does. Cordarrelle Patterson is going to steal carries.

I tell you, and it kills me to say it because my brother is the biggest f'ning fan of this team and hates and mocks my Patriot fandom!

But I really like what the Steelers did in this draft and free agency and think they will for sure be in the conversation this upcoming season. From what they were last year, it will be the biggest turn around in the league next season imo.

It is said they had the option of a trade down with the Vikings for both 1's and a 1 next year. IMO they should have taken it imo, to build the team first then add the QB next year. Could have gotten their starting LT for the next decade and a topflight WR and could of double dipped on WR or added a DB and filled 3 major holes. with your first 3 picks and with a double 1 next season. Instead, they got their QB and left several large holes on the team with limited ability to fill them.

I am not so impressed with Wolf & Mayo's draft here, but I will admit I know very little about these guys coming out of college, but I just like value more than having one shiny object. It is nearly impossible to ask this kid to come in and play at a top level given what is around him including an offensive coaching staff that I am less than thrilled with.

I think they did the right thing and that is if Maye turns out to be what ppl think he will be. He will most likely be red shirted this year unless big boy Brissett collapses by game 6 and i still wouldn't throw Maye in like that, i would bring in another veteran. If mayo gels as a HC and get things right we will be back competing in '25 (with the extra space in cap we will have) and back to always be in contention from '26 on.

I don't disagree, I think they view him as a possession, WR3 behind Tyreek and Weddle, could be decent in that role but not expecting him to turn back the clock at all.
