No it's because Jones's criminal case is over.
Rices's case doesn't come up till next year so there's a good chance he gets suspended after the case is over next season.

The horrible part will be him missing all of camp and trying to go full speed week 1 and he injures himself. I think half the time these hold out are as much about missing training camp and enjoying the summer other then it being all business. Funny how things seem to always get settled the next day after camp ends....

really wished the Niners settled the BA contract before Lamb and Chase did but hope the Lamb deal doesn't prolong things over here.

Cowboys keep waiting too long on these contracts and end up paying more. Just get it done early before the market goes up.

Mitchell out for the season. Big loss, especially after Shanahan and co said they were looking to use CMC less. At this point, Trent Williams holding out is a bigger problem than the BA situation imo. Our offensive line drops off when he’s not in there. What a mess heading into week 1.

now that the deal is done little details coming out - the deal that was signed was the same one presented to BA almost a month ago. So yup it was all posturing to see who would blink first. Niners called his bluff when they let him seek a trade and were entertaining offers from NE and PIT most notably, but of course the $2m bump annually those teams were offering wasn't enough to get him to a less attractive situation.
Also Niners were ready to pull off the PIT trade but first wanted to secure another WR from another team ... that team being DEN. Niners offered a BA to DEN for a third rounder and DEN said no. Seeing the reaction from DEN fans online, they are not pleased haha.

NE has named Jacoby Brissett as QB1 over first round pick Drake Maye. I assume he will get an opportunity this season based on how bad the Pats are of if Brissett can stay healthy.

Good thing about these is even if they both just make the final 4 you can always hedge bet from there & get your money back and then some even if they lose its like a free roll.

I always do one too im a chalkie so kc over det +4600 at FD.
