Yes, the Chiefs have dropped down to the #1 seed after this loss. With all the hate, you forced my hand.

Chiefs weaknesses may haunt them in the play offs. Weak OF tackle play, issues at corner are two that stand out.

That being said, they are expected to get Pacheco (combined with Hunt), Omenihu (hopefully equals more QB pressures), Butker (though kicking wasn't the issue vs Bills) and Hollywood Brown is expected for the playoffs.

These additions don't address the Tackles, but additional OF weapons can help get the ball out of Mahomes hands quicker and a good running game should help too. The lacking of a replacement corner maybe negated if we can get more pressure on the QB.

It will be a fun remainder of the season and playoffs.

I dunno, Mahomes's play has been the worst of any regular season of his career thus far. And despite all that, KC is still the #1 seed, with a 9-1 record. We all know Mahomes always steps up big for the postseason, so they'll still be the odds on favorite to make the Super Bowl yet again if the road in the AFC runs through Arrowhead.

Jets fire GM not named Aaron Rogers

Jets fired general manager Joe Douglas.

Douglas is out after five and a half seasons as New York’s general manager. It hardly comes as a shock after the front office’s gamble on 40-year-old Aaron Rodgers turned out disastrously on every front. The Jets are 3-8 in another lost season without any clear path forward outside a total teardown and years-long rebuild. Douglas bet on Rodgers and lost badly. The Jets were 30-64 with Douglas as GM. He’ll join Robert Saleh in unemployment as Rodgers plays out the string with the roster he helped create. The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reports the team’s GM search would begin immediately.

Jerry Jones is the main problem with the Cowboys. He's the reason they haven't won a Super Bowl since the 90's. He's a micro manager and control freak. He should do the Cowboys a huge favor and fire himself.

I mean, they barely beat a banged-up Bucs team because they stupidly decided not to go for 2 (you’re telling me you don’t like your chances going 5 yards, yet you like your chances going 70 yards if you win the coin toss or give Mahomes a chance to close out the game with a porous defense? ) and the Broncos at home by way of a blocked chip shot FG (they did beat the Ravens, though, brownie points for that), but playoff Mahomes is a whole different beast as we saw last year. It should be worth noting he wasn’t that good during the regular season last year, either (by his standards). Last year was his first real year throwing under 30 TDs.

in the last 2 decades only 3 teams got close, 1 (2007 Pats) made all the way to the SB undefeated and lost, the other 2 Colts in 2009 and Panthers in 2015 went 14-0 then lost the next game, what they all have in common ? all 3 lost the SB too.

Soon the regular season will go to 18 games, 21 games to win it all, yeah you can pretty much say its over...
