The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced the modern-era finalists for induction in the class of 2025 and it includes five players who can be elected in their first year of eligibility.

Former Giants quarterback Eli Manning is at the head of that group. The two-time Super Bowl winner would join his brother and Manningcast co-host Peyton as a member of the Hall of Fame if he is elected by the selection committee.

Manning is joined in that group by former Ravens, Cardinals and Chiefs edge rusher Terrell Suggs, former Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly, former Ravens guard Marshal Yanda, and former Patriots and Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri.

Former Panthers and Ravens wideout Steve Smith is a first-time finalist in his fourth year of eligibility. Cornerback Eric Allen, tight end Antonio Gates, guard Jahri Evans, defensive end Jared Allen, wide receiver Reggie Wayne, running back Fred Taylor, wide receiver Torry Holt, tackle Willie Anderson, safety Darren Woodson, and cornerback Eric Allen are all returning finalists.

This Broncos/Bengals game has been so wild it needed overtime.

Can't believe the Bengals missed the Field Goal and still managed to win the game.

I have no doubt Bob thought making this hire would send him into the hall of fame no questions asked and well it didn't, and now it is tanking the value of his franchise 1 game at a time! I hope next week is just one 4-hour long session of Fire Mayo / Fire Wolf chants all game long.... The fans at the very minimum deserve better than guys who need to break out the "Head Coaching for Dummies" book to find the next play call!

Aaron Rodgers throws an interception and gets flagged for unnecessary roughness on the same play. This just after getting sacked to pass Tom Brady for the all-time record. Bad sequence of downs, LOL.

Bills win today would be a lot more meaningful under the old playoff system. Now? It's a somewhat meaningless clinch of a #2 seed which is worth little more than a 3 or 4.

I was watching the Bills/Jets game, before the start of the second half, the coach of the Jets was interviewed. He said that they just need to play their style of football. I thought to myself...."what style is that, losing week in and week out?"
