Sounds like BS. That being said, as a Jags fan, I'm no opposed to moving on from Lawrence. Outside of his 2nd season, Lawrence has showed me absolutely nothing, and in fact has regressed a good deal. Pretty clear this guy is a bust, as much as it pains me. I really did consider him the best QB prospect since Andrew Luck at one time.

I wouldn’t call him a bust, but he’s definitely underperformed so far. The organization has to take some of the blame for this though. A terrible ex GM (believe me, as a 49ers fan I know firsthand) and he’s about to take on his third HC in 5 years…..both terrible factors in the development and stability of a young QB, even if they are considered a “generational talent” (hate this label by the way).

KC losing the Super Bowl probably ends any chance of a team seriously contending for a Super Bowl 3-peat any time soon, maybe for decades. This KC team was the only team to ever make it to a Super Bowl after winning the previous two Super Bowls. The NFL is easily the hardest of the major American professional sports to get a 3-peat (or even back to back Super Bowls for that matter). Too many variables with football that make it next to impossible to happen, even if you have an all-time great QB like Brady, Montana, or Mahomes.

Even in other sports, it's harder than ever to get a 3-peat, with free agency, expansion, and longer playoffs. in MLB, the only 3-peat since the mid-1970's was the Yankees (1998-2000). In the NHL, the last 3-peat was the Islanders in the early 80's. Although, Tampa Bay did come close a few years ago, winning back to back in 2020/2021, before losing in the Cup Finals in 2022.

The NBA is really the one sport where one or two mega stars can carry a team to championships, making a 3-peat the most likely of the major sports. But even there, it rarely happens. Last 3-peat was the Shaq/Kobe Lakers teams, more than 20 years ago. Outside of that team, only the Jordan led Bulls teams managed 3-peats post-1970. The Golden State teams of the mid-late 2010's were some of the best teams of all-time, but even they couldn't win 3 straight titles. Nor could the Miami teams with LeBron, Wade, Bosh. Most other attempts at forming super teams similar to that Miami team in recent years have had poor - Nets, Suns, Clippers, etc. - resulting in teams that didn't even come close to winning a title.

They are obsessed with expanding outside the US. IMO a huge mistake but clearly Goodell doesn't care.

NBA expanded internationally by destroying handchecking, opening up lanes everywhere, NO defense and full on offense from whole court. NO half court offense.

NFL will be destroyed the same way. international people dont like physicality, contact much.
