but JJ has continued to step up when called, Ricky should continue to grow this season. I love what Deebo did but the contract negotiations really irked me and a lot of fans. for his part, Deebo said he has no hard feelings with John, Kyle (who loved him) or the org and it was just time to move on. wish him luck.
some other murmurs under all of this is that the team is listening to offers for BA and may also kick the tires on Davante. first order of business is getting the Purdy contract done though, i read that they are a bit far apart from the outset.

I wouldn’t be upset if they traded BA. Seems like we’re in a semi rebuild. They are releasing Hargrave and it looks like Ward and Greenlaw will be gone. Then you have Brock’s extension, which I think is going to drag on (reported $45 mil offer so far).

Not surprising at all, the 49ers were tops in the league last season in adjusted games lost which measures the impact of injuries on a team.

Adam Chernoff whos a good capper did a win/loss projection for every team.

SF has the easiest strength of sched based on how much they would be fav/dog each game.
They are projected fav in 12 of their 17 games & play just 3 playoff teams.
They play 5 of the 7 lowest rated teams & only 2 teams ranked inside the top 13.

DET has the toughest sched.
Home sched isnt bad but just a brutal away sched.
7 of their 9 opponents are playoff teams & the other 2 are CIN & CHI.

Garret situation getting interesting

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports Myles Garrett “is preparing to miss games if he’s not traded” by the Browns.

Things are getting good, here. Garrett reportedly discussed a meeting with Browns owner Jimmy Haslam, only for Haslam to decline to speak with the All-Pro pass rusher. Garrett is dug in on his desire to be traded, while the Browns “from ownership to GM to coach,” per Pelissero, are dug in on not trading him. The Browns have floated the possibility of extending Garrett with a big contract to satisfy him for the foreseeable future, but Garrett’s focus seems to be solely on winning a championship that doesn’t appear to be anywhere in the Browns’ near future. How this ultimately plays out is anybody’s guess, but a split between the two sides feels increasingly likely.

Browns will need to get those dreams of number 1 picks in return toned down to a 3rd or 4th imo. An almost 30 year old guy is not something i would want my team forking over a motherload for, no matter how good of a player he is.

I know Geno had a career revival under Carroll but is he supposed to be a bridge QB? Raiders only gave up a third rounder so that's not too bad but he's 34.
