DET has 5 PT games
Thanksgiving counts as a standalone game not PT cause it starts before 6.00p.

DAL tied for the most with 8 standalone games.

Per Dianna Russini of TheAthletic.com, Hall of Famer Charles Woodson is buying 0.1 percent of the Browns from the Haslam family.

Great way to rebound from a disappointing (and injury riddled) season last year. 49ers have the easiest strength of schedule and a week 14 bye (first time in the Lynch-Shanahan era having a bye this late in the season). Six of their first nine games are on the road, back half of the season will mostly be at home. And to top it off, 5 prime time games.

Bye weeks are something that needs addressed. There is a better system.

Brock Purdy will officially be the most overpaid quarterback in the NFL.

It's $265m but the 1 yr that he had left is really still in there so it's really 6yrs = only $44m a yr.

+ they can probably get out after 2 or 3 yrs.

the contract has a $181 mil guarantee... so wouldn't make sense to get out after 2/3 years...

Not per florio:

"The structure of the deal also will show whether the 49ers are tied to the contract for one, two, or three years. (Teams rarely commit fully to more than three years of any non-rookie contract — except for the Browns.)"

49ers and Warner agree to a $63 million extension. Kittle, Purdy, and now Warner. Hey El Rey, no holdouts this off season……off to a great start.

They should just have the bye weeks in the middle of the season. They could do something like having the NFC have week eight off and the AFC have week nine off and the next season switch it around. I agree, it's stupid to have teams get their bye week four weeks into the season and some teams don't get them until November.

Cant.

With TNF/SNF/MNF there would only be 5 games sunday afternoon.

Not only would CBS/FOX hate that cause its too thin a sched but it would violate the sunday ticket contract that requires a minimum amount of games so peeps dont btch n moan "Im paying for ST & only 5 games are on ??"

They try to alternate so teams with an early bye one yr get a later bye the following yr.

Exactly this, which is what I have been saying for years. And if two weeks is drastic, then do up to 4, but certainly cut it down to the middle weeks of the season.

Again you would have 4 wks in a row with only 8 sunday afternoon games cause now youre running into wks with a 9.30a international game.
