They basically need 6 games in the 1:00 regional window so you're going to have only 2 games in the 4:00 national window for 4 weeks in a row

Yeah I'm sure people aren't going to complain about that.

With how crazy the schedule is im debating dropping Sunday Ticket. Seems to me might not be worth it now as the games are everywhere on several different platforms.

And all of these sports leagues are wondering why their ratings are going down. You have to spend hundreds of dollars on all these streaming services.

They gladly take that tradeoff because of the extra $$ they get from streaming.
NFL made $23 billion last yr an all time record.

After 2029 season nfl will opt out of current tv deals & they will be getting a boatload of $$ cause cbs & fox will have to compete with amazon youtube netflix & that will for sure break the bank again.

If youre not talking sunday ticket which isnt recent it started over 30 yrs ago you really dont miss many games if you dont spend $$ on streaming.
Its 2 netflix / 1 peacock / 1 espn+ so i think thats really it.

Problem is Sunday Ticket is being advertised as 1 thing but not broadcast as what is advertised. They Advertise EVERY NFL game in EVERY market.

Sunday Ticket does not cover

Thursday Games
Black Friday games
Peacock Games
Netflix Games
Monday Night Games
Sunday Night Games
Youtube TV Games
Overseas International Games
Local Broadcast Games

You only get National games broadcast on Sundays now which if you are lucky with bye weeks and other scheduling might be 3 games a time slot. 1 of those 3 is usually your local team. It used to be great for Sundays because NFL had like 5-7 games a timeslot going. I actually have 5 TVs setup for games but half time time its just not worth it now.

But they do have this disclaimer right on their home page:
"With NFL Sunday Ticket for out-of market games and YouTube TV base plan for local and national games. Terms, restrictions, and embargoes apply. Excludes digital-only games."

All those games you listed are not out of market.

Its more than 3 for some timeslots like here in NY wk1 1.00p jets are cbs & nyg are fox so ST will have 6 other games.

Looking at it Week 1 yes you are correct as I am in Detroit Market, Chances are CBS and Fox week 1 will broadcast a game in each timeslot.

Thursday 4th - Cowboys Eagles (NBC)
Friday 5th - Chargers Chiefs (YouTube)
Sunday 7th 1pm Games - Sunday Ticket
Dolphins Colts (CBS)
Steelers Jets (CBS) - National?
Panthers Jags (Fox)
Cardinals Saints (CBS)
Giants Commanders (Fox) - National?
Bucs Falcons (Fox)
Bengals Browns (Fox)
Raiders Pats (CBS)
Sunday 7th 4pm Games
49ers Seahawks (Fox) - National?
Lions Packers (Local Broadcast CBS)
Texans Rams (CBS)
Titans Broncos (Fox)
Sunday Night Football
Viking Bears (NBC)

Sunday Ticket with no Byes gives 6 games at 1pm and 2 games at 4pm

My Argument is Weeks 4-14 where you have byes and international games you remove 2-3 games from that 1pm timeslot and you have at most 4 games at 1pm maybe 5 and 2 maybe 3 games at 4pm depending on MNF schedule if it is like week 2 where you have 2 MNF games.

Yea 4.00 is always gonna be a low number of games cause thats when the big national game is & cbs or fox wants to send that game to as much of the country as possible so the less games there are the easier it is for them to do that.

Thats why i like redzone cause even here in NY i will still get at least 15 cowboys games anyways which is kinda remarkable.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Browns, Jaguars, Dolphins, Saints, and Titans voted with the Eagles, Ravens, Patriots, Jets, and Lions against the proposal that would have banned the play.

Whats beyond stupid is the NFL approached the Lions and Packers for the rule changes. If the NFL wanted the play banned and wanted the playoff seeding format changed why did they just not propose it. Why essentially toss both these teams under the bus.
