Yeah honestly people point to our offense since 2006 and say it's all Garrett but I think Romo makes our offensive line and our play-callers look better than they actually are. I know we went 1-5 with him last year but that wasn't entirely his fault, the defense went from one of the best in the NFL to one of the worst in one season, at least Ryan's schemes seem to have them headed back in the right direction.

Even during the 1-5 last year Romo's numbers weren't bad. Certainly not 1-5 bad.

Romo over the last 3 years : 65.2% completion 66 TD 25 Int (2.64 TD:Int Ratio), 277.3 yards/game passing. 6 fumbles lost.

If I showed those numbers without a name or context people would claim super-bowl potential quality QB.

On the other hand, if the Giants lose the Cowboys can clinch. And I know people are predicting Eagles romp again but it's a division game, those are never certain.

The Cowboys could just win their own game against the Eagles this week and then they don't have to worry about the Eagles.

The timing of the games could be interesting this week. If the Giants win the early game then by the start of their game the Eagles will know they are out of the playoff race and the Cowboys won't be able to clinch so it will be a meaningless game for both teams (since the Cowboys have virtually no chance at the wild card). If the Giants lose then the Cowboys will know they can clinch the division with a win and the Eagles will know they are still alive so it will be huge for both teams.

At this point, the Cowboys have to play all out against both teams. But if the Giants win, the Eagles game becomes meaningless for the Cowboys and they can just go through the motions to avoid injury.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer expects Colt McCoy (concussion) to sit out the season finale, giving way to Seneca Wallace versus the Steelers.
Due to recurring concussion symptoms, McCoy has already been ruled out for Week 16. The Browns will be hesitant to go with McCoy in a rematch with the oft-fined James Harrison. Seneca Wallace is approaching the final two games as if he's the starter. Author of a disappointing 5.9 YPA and 57.2 completion rate at the helm of the NFL's 29th-ranked offense, McCoy will face competition for the starting job in 2012 -- perhaps from an early-round rookie.

Owner Jim Irsay said on NFL Network Thursday that he envisions Peyton Manning (neck surgeries) back with the Colts in 2012 as long as he's healthy.
That's a big "if." Provided Manning proves healthy enough to earn his option in late February, Irsay wants to have his cake and eat it, too. He expects to select a "great young QB" if he has the No. 1 overall pick, so he better be prepared for a game of hardball involving agent Tom Condon as well as the Manning and Luck families.

True, I only give them about a 30% chance to beat Jacksonville though. Not to mention we don't know the tie-breakers right now with the other 2 win teams.

Eh the truth is 90% or more of NFL analysts have no idea what they're talking about, which is why I don't really watch sports analysis shows. I really only check Sportscenter and the like for highlights.
