Most plays today they seem to be just standing around.

Believe me, no one is happier than me. I am still amped with adrenaline and the game ended hours ago. I was going crazy all afternoon. I had so much pent up frustration.

Marshawn "Skittles Beast" gets in for the first rushing TD against the 49ers. He'll probably get 100 yards also.

Another win for the Niners! They are so lucky to be that lucky. Winning 12 times out of luck, that's so lucky.

So what happens if the Colts win their last game and the Rams lose? Seems like a real possibility with St. Louis playing San Francisco and Indy @ Jacksonville. I would think the Rams draft Luck and trade Bradford.

49ers secure a first round playoff bye with the help of Dave Akers kicking his 42nd, record breaking, season FG.

I'm pretty sure they haven't clinched a first round bye just yet. New Orleans still has the same record as the Niners if they beat Atlanta.

I think they trade the pick. On NFL live they were saying the asking price is around three to four first round picks. Bradford signed a six year (four left after this year) 78 million dollar deal with a whopping 50 million guaranteed. Bradford should bounce back the way Stafford did and having picks for years to come will be more beneficial in the long run.

You'd probably have a crazy bidding war going on. I wonder if San Francisco would try for him. Their head coach is Harbaugh, who coached Luck at Stanford. And lets face it, while the Niners have a very good team Alex Smith isn't leading them to a Super Bowl anytime soon. I think the prospect of winning big right now at the expense of first round picks later would be tempting.

Early word coming out of Minny is AP Tore his ACL and is done.

Quote:
Jay Glazer of FOX and Jason Cole of Yahoo both report that Adrian Peterson is believed to have torn his left ACL in Saturday's win over Washington.
An MRI will show whether Peterson did more damage to his left knee. Glazer's report cited three sources and Cole's report cited two, so it sounds like the ACL is torn at the very least. Peterson will need reconstructive surgery. The hope is that he did not tear additional ligaments, complicating the recovery process. We'll have updates on Sunday and throughout the upcoming week.
And in positive news for the first time since 1999 Lions have Clinched a Playoff Berth!

I wonder if at 8-8 Jerry will bring wholesale changes to this team or not, I'm betting not. Also wondering how liquored up the old fool got tonight.

I think 3-4 first round picks is lowballing it. I'd say 4 first and second round picks is more like it. And the only way Luck is a bust is if he suffers a career ending injury. This guy is no Ryan Leaf.

Whoever tries to trade for the pick better have a decent core on offense though. If you have no receivers or O-line and no tradeable assets to improve it, Luck will have nobody to throw to and get beat up for several years.
