i agree about the teams though your defense is older than the Lions, so for that i'd give the edge to a younger, improving Lions defense than an older Cowboys D. and the Cowboys don't have a force in the middle. and if Suh can keep himself composed half the time he and Fairley could be the new "Williams Wall" like Minnesota had for all those years. Dallas i don't feel has anyone like Suh or Fairley. at least not yet.
If Suh doesn't learn to control his temper he will never be more than the next Albert Haynesworth with a better motor. Ratliff is all right but I agree on the push up the middle, would make Ware even more effective and could even make impending free agent Anthony Spencer better.

I like the all he is is Megatron bit. He's the equivalent of two star players alone. And that Pettigrew guy, he's pretty good too.

Mere hours away from the Broncos game. My plan is working perfectly. Broncos soon to be 0-4 since Tebow was downgraded to 8-bit avatar status.

Still, Megatron can only do so much against double and triple coverage all day. Spreading things out works much better, like the Saints, Patriots, and Packers.

Matt Stafford is pretty good, I just think Romo is a bit better. Romo didn't throw it near as much as Stafford and still threw 6 less INTs. Romo probably could've thrown for over 5000 yards himself if Murray hadn't emerged there for awhile and Garrett then decided to go against his nature and lean on the run a bit. Besides that 5000+ yards has Stafford in the same place Romo is right now, out of the play-offs and trying to pass the time till next season.

"Hells Bells" was playing during the kickoff, is Trevor Hoffman playing or what?

FOX Sports' Jay Glazer would be "shocked" if Jeff Fisher isn't the Rams' new head coach within the "next 48 hours," and reports the Dolphins are moving on to other candidates.
Apparently Fisher isn't agonizing over his decision as much as has been reported. Most signs have pointed toward Fisher ending up in St. Louis for days, namely the fact that his agent is the father of Rams' director of football operations Kevin Demoff, and that St. Louis recently sought permission to interview two Titans' front-office executives for its vacant GM position. It would indeed be shocking if Fisher landed elsewhere.

Like I said, as long as the Dolphins stick with Ireland, they won't land a big name in Miami.

I think the owner is the problem more than Ireland. He forever turned off a lot of coaches by trying to hire Harbaugh last year when he already had a coach. In addition there's a lot working against the Miami job right now. They don't have a franchise quarterback. They are in a tough division with New England and the Jets. They have a lot of fair-weather fans and struggle to sell out. The only reason Fisher would have chosen the Dolphins over the Rams is if the money Miami offered was too much to pass up. I think the Dolphins end up hiring a younger assistant coach that isn't well-known.

FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports that the Broncos do plan to use Brady Quinn on third downs in Sunday's Wild Card game against the Steelers.
It's unclear whether Quinn will play in all third-and-long situations to open the game, or whether he'll only play in some packages. Per Glazer, the Broncos would bench Tebow outright if he "completely struggles." Either way, it's pretty clear Tebow is going to have to start Sunday's game hot from a passing-game standpoint in order to last four quarters. His rhythm could be affected if the Broncos mix and match quarterbacks during the game.

Romo is almost 10 years older than stafford, romo isn't going to get any better and stafford will only get better

Of course... Mike Smith goes for it on 4th down. And it looks like he came up short.

Safety for Atlanta, 2-0. Wow what a play by Atlanta's defense.

Yeah, that QB situation, 13 years now and still nothing on the horizon, I'm freaking sick of it...

I would take Manning in a heartbeat, even with a neck brace he would be better than what we've had in the past 13 years. Matt Moore has been pretty decent this year, he's just not the long-term solution.

Giants driving now, I've noticed Mike Smith likes to go for it a lot, cost his team 3 points today and probably cost them a win against the Saints in the regular season.

When the Giants offense gets in a rhythm, they are a good unit. That was a nice drive.

Good luck going to Green Bay, whichever team wins this stinkfest.
