Overrated? Is that you DVDfreaker? They can't be overrated since they are not even "rated" to begin with. The only overrated team in the NFL is the Chargers because some "experts" pick them to go to the Super Bowl every year.

DVDfreaker? Please don't compare me to that moron. The Falcons have an over-rated QB, especially considering where he was drafted. They're practically unbeatable at home but they stink on the road. They might have the best 1-2 punch at wideout in the league but somehow haven't scored on offense in this game against one of the worst secondaries in the league, albeit one that's been plagued by injury all season long.

That was clearly pass interference on Atlanta there, not called. Probably cost NY a TD.

He's actually kinda right. Did you look at the "experts" pre-season picks? Many picked Atlanta to win the Super Bowl this season. It's not as ridiculous as the people who pick San Diego to win the Super Bowl, but fact is Atlanta is usually overrated going into each season.

Many? Are you sure about that? I mentioned the Chargers but Jets and Eagles were mentioned a lot in Super Bowl talk and they didn't even make the playoffs, those are your overrated teams.

I'm hoping New York can hang onto win this game. They played Green Bay really well earlier in the season, and we could be treated to a nice shoot out. If Atlanta plays Green Bay, they will get creamed.

Yes, there were many who picked Atlanta. Sports Illustrated is one of them, picking Atlanta over San Diego pre-season as the Super Bowl pick this year.

Another bad decision there.

Well.... speaking of bad decisions, I shopped for Browns PSL's today.... I found a great deal on Club-Seats on the 50 yard line (just a couple of a grand for the pair ) and my father-in-law said he'd split it with me..... I was pumped like reebok, and then I found that the ticket prices for that section are OUT OF CONTROL!

I can buy season tickets for lower-level on the field, 50 yard line for $800 or so..... but the club seats on the 50 yard line are "Premium Club Seats" for the low-low price of $2,800 per seat!!!

I'm going to continue to shop for lower-level PSLs I guess

They played Green Bay well in New York. Best of luck doing the same @ Green Bay.

How did New York get the ball back without Atlanta scoring? 17-2 New York now, Eli Manning really is pretty good this year, even if I hate to admit it.

They have a big back but they use Ryan on 4th and 1 and don't even disguise it

Atlanta went for it on 4th and short and didn't get it, rather than kicking the field goal

Falcons have more talent than a lot of teams and it's not just on offense. Why they aren't better, I don't understand. Super Bowl champs is a reach though, considering they aren't even the most talented team in their own division.

These are ESPN's predictions http://espn.go.com/nfl/preview11/sto...edictions-2011

They all chose Chargers as AFC West champs and were split between Saints and Falcons for NFC South champs. 1 picked Chargers as AFC champs and eventual Super Bowl champs. 1 picked Falcons as NFC champs.

Peter King of Sports Illustrated chose Falcons over Chargers as his Super Bowl pick, but his picks are awful every year, so no surprise.

it's not as good as people give him credit for

that TD pass is like what, the 10th time this season he throws it 20 yards and somehow Victor Cruz or Nicks goes the other 60?

Victor Cruz is the one having the really good year

Julio Jones is a complete beast but I still thought that was a terrible trade by them, no wide receiver is worth that much. Ah Corey Webster with a stupid penalty on the punt, time for Eli to get back to work.

Peter King picked the Steelers to win the Super Bowl last year. He wasn't far off on that pick, despite the fact that most experts steered clear of Pittsburgh in 2010 due to Roethlisberger's legal trouble and suspension.

Based on what? I'm guessing Green Bay is a double-digit favorite. I'd probably still take the over if the spread is about 10 points.

I wonder what happened to Clay Matthews this year, he had a monster season last year and only 6 sacks this year. Might be a big part of why their defense has struggled at times.

They have a really good offense and Green Bay's defense is atrocious. I fully expect a 35-28 type score.
