How often is he really right? I still consider him a lot more relevant than those weirdos with too much time on their hands that do 7 round mocks.

His wife also just had twins last year so he might not want to coach because he wouldn't get to see his kids as much.
While it would be hard to resist all that money, Peyton might prefer to stay on the ground and actually affect the game, rather than just commenting on it. Half a million a year is pocket change for Manning, but it's big pocket change.

Me too. I like Colt's toughness but his inability to throw the long out and continually using a rolling pocket so he can see down field is hurting us.

RG3 has a BIG arm and can stretch the field as well as complete the long outs. If we do draft him we need to STOP with the little rink-a-dink slants and outs. This West Coast offense MUST go. If Holmgren has lost the ability to understand the concept of implementing an offense which best suits his QB, then he can leave too.

The Browns have been in rebuilding mode for how long? They need to take one of the top 2 now.

Two winning seasons in 13 seasons as the "new Browns." And 9 of those 13 seasons they've won 5 games or less. You have to take Griffin with that pick. Their biggest problem is lack of a quality QB.

Citing sources inside the organization, ESPN 980 Washington's Chris Russell reports the Redskins are "very interested" in free agent QB Matt Flynn.
ESPN's Mel Kiper told reporters earlier in the day that "grapevine" talk suggested the Redskins didn't have a high opinion of Flynn. Russell knows "for sure," though, that coach Mike Shanahan and OC Kyle Shanahan had a "detailed conversation" two weeks ago on Flynn's six-touchdown, 480-yard performance against the Lions in the regular season finale. Whereas Charley Casserly suggested Flynn wouldn't be a good fit for the Redskins offense, one team source tells Russell the two systems are "almost the same."

Our last good year was '94 when we went 11-5 and were a wildcard. We beat the Pats, then went to 3 Rivers and Vinny (squeeze it into triple coverage) Testeverde layed a turd and that was it (lost to the Squeelers 3 times that year) . The saddest day for me, other than traitor Modell's move to Baltimore, was when Belicheat ran Bernie out of town on a rail and Modell did nothing to stop it. I'm still pissed about that one, and will never give "Billy Boy" any kudos, regardless of how many rings he gets in Beantown.

I'm sure the guy can be an effective starter in the NFL but I wouldn't throw crazy cash at him if I'm Washington. If they REALLY want a QB just try and trade up to #2 or #3 and take Griffin.

I don't know. He quit on the team. He had a soar throat, a bad hammy and a multitude of other made up problems. He divided the room and as soon as that happens, you're finished. Forte in Chicago played his guts out for a new contract where as Hillis lay down this year thinking he should be rewarded before completion of his current contract. "F" him, his behaviour set a terrible example. I'd take a 75 year old Jim Brown in the backfield before I'd sign this selfish jerk.

The Browns best season in recent years was 2007 when they went 10-6 but got hosed out of a playoff spot because Pittsburgh had the tiebreaker. Derek Anderson put up some crazy numbers - like 30 TD's that season. Unfortunately it was a complete fluke and he never threw so much as 10 TD's in any other year of his career.

Anderson was a fluke. He was the Ravens 3rd stringer when he went to Cleveland. He had a million dollar arm and a 10 cent head when it came to on field decisions. He proved his worth when he went to the Cards.

from the sounds of it, the packers are working on a long term contract for finley....which i did not expect.

i thought they would've franchised him and traded his pass dropping ass.

hopefully w/a contract in place, he can not be in his head so much and just worry about catching the damn ball!!!

I'd love to see the Packers (or anyone ) move up and take our pick (which I bet will be Claiborne)
