I said it before, this Giants team is actually more talented than the one that won it all in 2007, other people are starting to see that now I think. Manning's not that old either, 28 I think, so they may be running the NFC East for quite awhile unless the Cowboys and the Iggles can find some way to catch up. No offense to supersix4 but without drastic changes to that team I don't see how they can contend for the division any time soon.

This Giants team actually got outscored by their opposition in the regular season. If they win the Super Bowl it would be the first time in history that happened. Either numerically or looking at the talent on the team I can't see how the 2011 Giants could be called better than the 2007 team.

And the 2007 team beat a more impressive group of teams in the playoffs. In 2007 the Giants beat the Packers, Cowboys and Patriots en route to the Super Bowl. Those three teams were a combined 42-6 in the regular season, all of whom were 13-3 or better.

None taken But you doubt the greatness of John Beck and Rex Grossman

You can always think of greener pastures with Matt Barkley in 2013.

Or Matt Flynn if rumors are true. Sign Matt to a good 3-4 year contract and get him a WR with that 6th pick.

Meh... McCarron is probably a 3rd or 4th round pick. I'd be surprised if his draft status gets any higher than that.

I don't know why you are so against Barkley. He has decent size, a great arm, and is a fiery leader. He would indeed look good in a Bills uniform.

And after these long and horrible seven months a new dynasty will be born in Western New York!

But yeah you are totally right. Football is the greatest sport in the world, and the long layover really sucks.

Usually during the national anthem the Air Force flyover is a couple of fast jets. WTF was that massive plane that just flew over? Looked like a friggin bomber or something.

I'm a die hard Ravens fan but I'm not gonna lie, Joe isn't the answer in the long term. He's been given 4 years to show he could be the franchise QB and he hasn't. If we didn't have such a good defense we would be 6-10 most years.

TRADE UP AND DRAFT ROBERT GRIFFIN the 3RD!!!!!!

How the hell did New England pressure Flacco with a three man rush?

Ahhh, since the Packers are out I can lay back and really enjoy these Championship games

It's nice because I don't care who wins, as long as the games aren't blow outs. Although almost any combo of Super Bowl would be neat:

Pats vs NYG - rematch with an angry Brady
Pats vs SF - Brady goes for ring #4 in his home state and to pass childhood fav Montana
Ravens vs NYG - rematch with Lewis' last season / game?
Ravens vs SF - HarbaughBowl

Didn't expect this game to start with back to back three and outs.

What do you say if they win today and / or win the SB?

I think drafting a QB would be a wasted pick so high up. I could see Lewis retiring if they win, maybe Reed too. So they would need defensive help. I'm not against replacing Flacco, but what did you expect from Flacco? They'll never be pass oriented, but I do agree to the effect that he has not progressed as much as necessary. I think having a great defense has actually stopped his growth, same with Sanchez - why get better when your defense usually can carry you?

As if the Colts didn't have a bad enough season the Patriots might win a 4th Super Bowl in their own house. Peyton Manning only led the Colts to one title despite winning 10+ games in 11 seasons with him as their QB.

When we drafted him we were not pass oriented. But as time went on we got him all the weapons he could possibly need. We now have TE's Ed Dickson, Dennis Pitta, WR's Anquan Boldin, Lee Evans, Torrey Smith and WR/RB Ray Rice. How much more does he need?

Prime example the play on 3rd and 3. Ray Rice was wide open (bye like 5 yards) right at the first down marker. But frakkin Flacco just keeps looking deep when all we needed was 3 frakkin yards.

If we won the Super Bowl I know he would get a new contract and I really don't want Flacco another 4 years. Lewis would retire but most likely not Ed Reed. And if the defense does start to falter I don't think anyone would want to have Flacco trying to carry the team.
