How can the cardinals be OVER and expect to be able to sign Manning??
It probably doesn't include the unused salary from last year they can carry over.

According to NFL.com WR V. Jackson is the Bucs top FA to sign.

The Cardinals are going to release Levi Brown, which will save them $14.5 million, Todd Heap and Chauncey Stuckey, which will save them $3 million, and then restructure or cut some of their other players. If they want Manning they can easily get enough cap space, especially if the contract is somewhat backloaded or full of signing and option bonuses, but they are not going to be able spend much more in free agency.

Are they? I thought Tampa was by far the furthest team under the cap.

Looks like they're 3rd by just a few million.

You mean the Redskins? My guess is they'll make a push for V. Jax.

I wouldn't get into a bidding war for Jackson with the Buccaneers, I'd go after someone else like Colston, who is probably just as good as Jackson anyway.

If I were the Redskins I would try to sign 2-3 good WR's rather than shoot for V-Jax. RG3 is going to need options to throw to. You could probably get some combination of Colston, Brandon Lloyd, and Mario Manningham for less than what V-Jax would cost. That would really open up the Skins offense.

You can't just have every play be Throw to V-J or run it.

lol guess you didn't look at how bad Gabberts stats actually are. And no I'm not saying Tebow's proved anything beyond that he deserves a shot to see where he falls in a few years. Gabbert as it stands now is looking to be a bigger bust then Tebow.

I want a combo of WR's, and lineman. They've got a few well under 30 that could be good solid pickups

1) Jax needs a circus to sell tickets;

2) Tebow played college ball about 90 minutes from the stadium.

3) Tebow mania is biggest in three places: Florida, Florida, and Denver.

I believe Hanzus also wrote an article about how its been noted that Gabbert is afraid to take hits.

Exactly. With Tebow the Jags get a lot of extra Gator-Tebow fans coming to games. I watched every Jags game last season and saw no real improvement in Gabbert. Not like Tebow could possibly make us worse. Though with Tebow and Jones-Drew we' likely be running the ball every play.

Its hard to improve when you have the surrounding cast that Gabbart had, cant give up on him after only 1 year, build a nice team around him and see what the kid can do...

I think as far as talent goes Tebow and Gabbert are both bad. But at least Tebow has the leadership and intangibles. And Jacksonville desperately needs a drawing card. Only reason they claim sellouts is because of massive tarps over seats and ownership buying up last minute tickets.

They should put like cardboard people in the seats lol.

if you watch the end of that video I think Newtons numbers are all the more impressive considering he's got about 3 inches and 20 pounds on RG3.. I worry about the hits without that extra padding.

Raiders use to have a major problem selling out, it was the new section above the third deck, called Mt Al Davis or something, but they were lowered to $26/ea... Why dont the Jags lower the prices on the sections that dont sell out as well... Better making something rather than nothing...

The South Florida Sun-Sentinel's Omar Kelly claims free agent Peyton Manning will visit the Texans.

I had said 49ers would be insane to not sign him & i would put texans in that category too.
