As was I and as someone who wanted Sanchez or Curry over him I was never happier to be proven wrong, the Lions got it right with that pick and im not afraid to admit I was wrong on that one. Suh the year after was an obvious choice, had they taken Curry to get to Bradford we would have lost out on one of the best defensive lines in the game. Its all about building right through the draft, FA for big money players is not the way to build a team.

Looking at what some of these free agents are getting it's making the Saints handeling of Brees look worse and worse. Some of these guys have barely a fraction of the impact Brees does yet are receiving almost as much as the Saints want to pay him guaranteed.

Brees to me really is worth $25 million a year(well no NFL player is worth that kind of money really but still). All the Saints are doing is pissing off their fanbase and probably the best player they've ever had. Doesn't help that this is coming on the tail end of the bounty scandal that seems quite widespread.

Nah, you'd probably get into the pro athlete way of thinking the money will keep rolling in forever and go bankrupt within 5 years of retirement.

Sounds like the Cowboys are giving TE Kellen Davis a physical, not the best option out there but when your #1 guy is Jason Witten, the #2 guy can be serviceable. Really hoping if Bennett signs with the Giants that he doesn't finally break out, that would really roast my chestnuts.

there's a racial stereotype that i can comment on but i'm gonna let it pass.

I’m lazy in general and have been living paycheck to paycheck since my 2nd child was born (my wife wanted to be a stay @ home mom).

If I had the money and wouldn’t have to work again, I’d find a way to keep it that way.

I always said, I’d be the wedge buster, put me in there on the kick off and I’ll be the one to run down the field and hurl myself into the wedge!!

On a more depressing note, I see old Teddy Thompson is sticking to his guns about not signing free agents.

Michael Bush lines up Bears, Bengals visits

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports free agent RB Michael Bush will visit the Bears on Wednesday before a meeting with the Bengals on Thursday.

The Bengals are beginning to line up potential Cedric Benson replacements, with BenJarvus Green-Ellis also slated for a visit. The surprising news is that the Bears are interested in Bush as perhaps a short-yardage hammer to complement Matt Forte. He could also be insurance in case Forte doesn't come to agreement on a long-term deal.

Doubt there's any jerseys I'll be getting any time soon anyway, already have 3 and don't think there's any others I want. I would've gotten a Laurent Robinson one if we had signed him to an extension, oh well.
