I think Mayock is the best draft analyst today. He watches a ton of tape and unlike McShay or Kiper he has contacts with every pro and college team so he learns what teams really think about players. McShay is widely regarded as a joke and probably doesn't have a single contact in the NFL, he's just put on the air because he looks and sounds good and so ESPN can maintain leverage over Kiper by showing he's expendable. Good to know. Honestly, I don't even remember why I don't like him. He probably said something pretty bad about the Dolphins that was totally wrong. I'll look forward to his insight then, thanks for pointing me this out. I can be somewhat bitter sometimes...

Hahahaha...we just can't find "the" guy. Mind you, you're QB's have to deal with a new OC and system change almost yearly.

One Dolphins source tells NFL Network's Jeff Darlington that the team was only willing to offer Matt Flynn $4 million per season because they weren't convinced he's a franchise quarterback.
The reports backs up Miami GM Jeff Ireland's contention that Flynn's signing with Seattle was "half his decision, half our decision." Although the Seahawks ended up forking over nearly twice as much as the Dolphins were offering, this report does raise questions about Flynn's prospects. His former offensive coordinator apparently still has doubts about his ability to maintain long-term NFL success.

Well for the most part Qb's are from obscure or average to above average schools.

Other than:
Stafford (UGA)
Newton (Auburn)
Brady (UM)
Bradford (Oklahoma)
Vick (Vtech)
Sanchize and Palmer (USC)

everyone else is from what I would consider non-football powerhouses. And 3 of those QB's I wouldn't consider to be must have qb's. 21%, and 25% if you stick Cal's Aaron Rodgers in.

Raiders acquired RB Mike Goodson from the Panthers in exchange for T/G Bruce Campbell.
A 25-year-old former fourth-round pick out of Texas A&M, Goodson was unable to earn a role in Carolina's backfield rotation due to chronic fumbling. He's put the ball on the ground seven times among 125 career carries. While the move makes it seem less likely that Jonathan Stewart will be traded, keep in mind that Goodson was out of the Panthers' plans regardless. In Oakland, he'll compete for the No. 2 back job with Taiwan Jones, behind Darren McFadden. Campbell is a gifted underachiever. He fell to the fourth round of the 2010 draft after many draftniks projected him in the first. Campbell has been unable to get on the field in Oakland, and will likely struggle to do so in Carolina, as well.

It doesn't help when you have 9 different offensive coordinators in a 10 year span from college to the pros.

The Eagles have scheduled a visit with free agent OT Demetrius Bell for the upcoming weekend.
Bell is in Pittsburgh Friday visiting the Steelers. The Eagles suddenly have a major left-tackle need after losing Jason Peters to a ruptured Achilles'. Bell would at the very least be an adequate replacement, assuming he's healthy.

If I were an NFL GM I'd probably hire private investigators to tail some of these prospective draft picks to see what they do in their off time.

I mean honestly, if Al Davis just hired a PI to tail JaMarcus around he would have known that guy spent most of his days at KFC and BK stuffing himself with buckets of chicken and Whoppers.
