Yeah it's actually getting to the point where one could argue he might be better than his brother, an argument that will catch a lot of momentum should he do what Brady and Aikman did before him and win a 3rd title.

I agree that there is a trend, but he needs a lot more seasons like last season on his resume for that to be actually a real debate. I am saying that as a die hard Giants fan-Eli Manning is my favorite player in the NFL.

If I were a Giants fan my favourite player on that team would probably be one of those defensive linemen that were as instrumental to your team reaching the Super Bowl as your franchise QB was. My favourite player right now is probably DeMarcus Ware, Sean Lee is making a push though.

Well, sure. Our D-line is the best. Tuck, Canty, Osi, JPP. All of them are game changers.

On defense (and special teams), I agree. The man is not human.

Eagles signed OT Demetrius Bell, formerly of the Bills, to a five-year contract.
The Eagles announced the signing, curiously adding that the correct spelling of Bell's name has been "Demetress" all along. Athletic but unreliable due to injury, Karl Malone's son was arguably the best offensive lineman left on the market. Since Bell is insurance for Jason Peters (Achilles surgery), the reported $35 million deal is almost certainly front-loaded, with little money guaranteed beyond 2012. All 30 of Bell's starts the past three years have come at left tackle, so Todd Herremans will likely remain on the right side.

Buccaneers re-signed exclusive rights free agent RB LeGarrette Blount to a one-year, $540,000 contract.
He'll be a restricted free agent next offseason. Blount, 25, fumbled five times on 184 carries last season while seeing his yards-per-carry average tumble from 5.01 as a rookie to 4.24. Blount couldn't have endeared himself to Tampa's new coaches by publicly expressing displeasure with the Bucs' interest in Trent Richardson. Expect Blount's role to decrease significantly in 2012.

I don't know about that... They show up at the right time which is the playoffs where they just take it to another level.

I"m not a Giants fan but the real reason Eli Manning has had such great success with his team of receivers and tight-ends is...

They (meaning Eli and HIS Team) have some serious Mental Telepathy going on there in New York, and it's not the air they breathe

So after Flacco claiming he's the best QB in the NFL I decided to come up with a list of QB's I'd take over Flacco.

Tom Brady
Peyton Manning
Eli Manning
Aaron Rodgers
Andrew Luck (ya, I'd take a rookie Luck over him)
Drew Brees
Tony Romo
Matthew Stafford
Matt Ryan
Ben Roethlisberger
Phillip Rivers
Andy Dalton
Cam Newton

Who else am I missing? Maybe Matt Schaub.

How did I not know Demetress (or Demetrius) Bell was Karl Malone's son? I remember seeing a SportsCenter story years ago about a college football player son of Karl Malone's that he completely ignored and whose mom he knocked up when she was 13 and he was 20, but I had no idea it was Bell.

Actually I probably would take RG3 over Flacco even though RG3 might take a few years to develop or might be a bust.

Evidently the two have only spoken one time. Nice father.

Would consider Newton and Luck depending on what they do this year.

There is my list of guys I would take over him. I hate putting Roethlisberger on there. I may hate the guy, but I am not a blind fan. 10-13 is not a bad ranking out of over 32 guys. Obviously he doesn't believe he is better than all these guys. It's all about a new contract.

They are great receivers, but Eli makes things happen with terrific passes while scrambling. You can't deny that.
