There's talk that the Colts may go after WR R. Moss. I think the Colts should focus on getting a RB and an OL.

I got to think HBO executives have been calling Kraft asking what it will take to allow the hard knocks cameras around foxboro this season.

The Pats would be the last team to ever appear on Hard Knocks. They've been asked multiple times and never even considered it. It's just too risky to appear on Hard Knocks because you are showcasing talent people have little knowledge of. If the Jets hadn't been on Hard Knocks last year would the Pats have ever signed Danny Woodhead? Woodhead wasn't well known but then Hard Knocks made him a featured story and showed a ton of footage of him and when the Jets cut the Pats scooped him up. I actually think HBO might struggle to find a team for Hard Knocks in the future. This year they asked multiple teams and everyone rejected them.

I wonder what would happen if Indy ever had a premier back? Very unlikely because you expect Manning to throw the ball 30-50 times a game which probably limits any RB on that roster under 20 carries.

He is not a premier back, but there was talk of Reggie Bush fitting in well in Indy before he went to Miami. I think he would have been a good back for them. I'm not sure how his blocking is though. I'm pretty sure pass blocking as a RB is pretty important in Indy.

Michael Crabtree has a hurt foot and will be out 4-6 weeks, meaning he's likely going to miss all of training camp. Crabtree has never gone through training camp. As a rookie he held out into the season, and last year he had a mystery injury. The 49ers were already thin at receiver and are reportedly interested in former Chargers receiver Malcolm Floyd. Regardless, this could give Frank Gore more leverage in his demand for a new contract.

just another season for us packers fans.....losing guys but signing no one.

i take that back, we resigned crosby. really hoping they resign jones....my buddy said rodgers was pushing for them to do so.

and it makes sense....he won't be a #1 recv'r on any team, but he'd be a #2 w/us by season end....driver is on a steady decline and would be better suited for a #3 spot @ this point. i'd almost expect this to be his last year.

Which I doubt since it was like 1 good year in a place where eyes weren't on you, CHI and DAL are MUCH different stories.

He's going to be a bust after that off season "where's my money" drama 2 years back. It was hilarious though.

You've got a great young team, but I still worry that doing nothing for too long is just as bad as doing a bunch of something that doesn't lead anywhere (redskins )

But again you guys won the super bowl and NE is always making moves and they haven't won it in awhile, no matter how many years they look to be in the drivers seat for it.

Williams best years were in 2006 and 2007 when Mike Martz was the Lions' offensive coordinator, so he could put up good numbers again now that he's back with Martz. The Bears lack quality receivers so I think this could be a good signing. Also, the Bears have reached an agreement with former Cowboys receiver Sam Hurd.

I think if he stays out of trouble until his contract is up and goes to a team with a real starting QB he could flourish. I think he's just trying to piss off/disappoint the 49er's enough to get them to cut/trade him.

And Roy Williama will definitely get better number with the Bears. They did just trade away their only TE that can catch.
