A look to the future of media creation in a white paper by MovieLabs....

https://movielabs.com/news/

P.S.
For those new readers to the forum unfamiliar with MovieLabs, it has been a major contributor in the technical guidance/investigation and standardization process for next generation video including that of HDR/WCG (albeit some would argue with a PQ bias) from the get-go, for example - https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...s#post11964072

no problemo, we can change up the pace before the workday begins, give me a mo

Seems kinda quiet without LOTR and a music video or two.
Timeouts can be tough.

Under user name it says, “Banned.” So that poster will not be coming back. I have no idea why the poster was banned.

Which I *think* - dare I interject in optical-related matters with Prof Penton hovering - is pretty much why Bayer array sensors prioritise green for 50% of the sensor and divide red and blue between the remaining 50% of the photosites.

I dislike seeing any member banned/suspended. I’ve long believed there should be a mechanism in effect to allow some sort of appeal process to at least 2 judges to help ensure an error has not been made with such a drastic action.

concurs
since I won’t be in Amsterdam this September for IBC to attend in person, I hope there are definitive answers given to hard ball questions posed by the audience during the Q&A panel regarding how the cinematography affected the home media deliverable – https://show.ibc.org/conference-prog...seen-it-before

so magazine writers and such –
the onus is on you to do due diligence to set the record straight regarding this PQ controversial episode of GoT(don’t blame Joe).

On this site, a ban can be temporary or permanent.

I know I have seen people be "banned" before and then be back after a week or two. (or maybe 30 days)
