The case used in my walmart exclusive of Logan was like that, though I believe some people were reporting a regular viva with a double sided flip tray.

I'm sorry if this has been covered, but do any of these companies sell the flip trays too?

I've never seen them sold separately, only as part of a three disc Viva Elite case.

Today I had the french Connection case in the mail, and the idiots forgot to unlock it!! it had the red paddock on it I couldn't open it at all, it was a 2 hour drive to the nearest store which I bought it from, so this resulted in me damaging the case completely useless

Anyway does anyone know where you can buy the double cases with the Hinges?? where the 2 disks are on a hinge? because I don't see anywhere online they are. Checked ebay they have double cases but none with a hinge, because I am so OCD about my collection I like to have the case exactly how I bought it and how it should be. I actually damaged the artwork a bit too in anger by throwing it and ripped a little

Can someone give me a pointer of where to look. I'm looking for a replacement case for Metropolis 2001 jp Bluray which I think was released in 2006 or 2007. I have no clue of where to look for one with the identical hub, insert holder, etc. The only clues I have are 5 numbers on the inside of the spine. 4 in group which are
JP2002-541683
JP2002-535129
JP9-538681
JP2863317
Which seem to be individual patents for the various distinct parts of the case
And one on the other end of the spine
AT-001-2
Any pointers are greatly appreciated.

These are numbers related to patent applications. The first four are Japanese numbers:

Patent application numbers: 2002-541683 and 2002-535129
Publication of granted patent application: 2863317

It appears this is an Amaray case (possibly the redtag design). Easiest way to determine the case type is to post pictures of the case.

This doesn't pertain to Blu-ray cases, but does anyone know what the standard DVD case size is? 14mm?

Does anyone know where I can get replacement cases for the UK Star Wars Clone Wars season sets? I bought the seasons 1-5 box set and even though the discs are fine, a few of the cases are destroyed. Especially seasons 1 and 2. They are 3-disc cases. I need to find replacement cases for them and I'm pretty sure the US cases are different. I need UK replacement cases. Does anyone know what sizes I need to look for?

Which case is the most durable 11mm? If I can pinch them and they squish it's not durable enough.

The best case I have is "Children who Chase Lost Voices" which is a 3 disc 14mm it looks like but it's so strong, doesn't bend at all. There's no name in it but just a patent 6.123.192 on the spine and PM1563-1 on the middle disc flap. The closest I've seen to this is Amaray 14mm on some of my imports. Amaray is good but not as good as this one.

Are there any 11mm cases like this or do they all just suck?

Anyone knows an alternative case for UK/Japan standard BluRay case? I am looking for a translucent, Criterion-type of case to replace all my boring-blue UK & Japanese cases.
Thanks !

No chance of that as there would be a space between the top of the sleeve and the top of the case. You'd have to print it yourself in the size of a criterion cover.

You can get Criterion (Scanavo) cases or something similar but you'll still have empty space at the top. No one currently makes a Criterion style case to fit normal Blu-ray artwork.

I think twilight time still sells clear single disc viva elites without a blu-ray logo on the case for a $1.25 ea.

Does Scanavo make black-colored Blu-ray cases?

When asking where to find a case, if you don't know the manufacturer, it really helps to post a photo of the inside including a good look at the hub.

I found an unboxing video on Youtube and what you want are the thicker 14mm UK Amaray cases. Something like this should do:

It's hard to make a generic recommendation as I typically only buy cases due to breakage or poor design, and then get something as close as possible to the original. But in the same way that DVD's began with tank-like Alpha cases and over time went to today's crappy eco cases, Blu-Ray cases are also in a race to the bottom. I get eco cases from Twilight Time, so even a high list price doesn't necessarily spare you. I'd say they all suck...at least more than they used to.
