I've only tried it once (I think), but the cover was definitely too long for the one I tried it on. Maybe it works for some and not for others.

How do you know the size for the cases
You measure the depth of the case (spine width).

Default Arrow Video Cases

I recently received an order from Arrow Video. Unfortunately, three out of four of the cases were smashed up pretty badly. Does anyone know where I can find replacement cases for them?

Thanks in advance.

Don't they just use 14mm clear cases? Should be able to find them on eBay.

Does anyone happen to know where to find the clear cases that Arrow and Eureka use, but with 3 disc capacity or with a double sided disc tray? I believe they're 14mm.

I believe you can buy clear cases for double-discs from Powerhouse Films (Indicator). Not sure about triples.

I also need these, since I just received a UK movie with a box cutter slash on the spine. I checked eBay, and the first results from the UK and Australia have insane fixed international shipping prices -- e.g. $63 (I presume to discourage international sales).

Does anyone know any source for these with reasonable international shipping?

I've been searching for standard Blu-ray replacement cases but there too many styles out there. I like the ones Shout Factory has been using lately. They're a bit thinner than regular cases and a seemingly lighter shade of blue - they're perfect. Anyone know what these are called and where I can find a good deal on a bulk purchase? Thanks

All the Shout releases I have come in the standard Viva Elite cases. Do you have an example of title(s) with the cases you are talking about?

The cases that Powerhouse use are not the same as what Arrow / Eureka use. Powerhouse cases use Scanavo, the same as Criterion, so the artwork for an Arrow release wouldn't look right as it would be too short.

I'm not sure if this is what he's referring to, but Of Unknown Origin uses something that looks like a Vortex ecocase without cutouts, but it's as thick as a Viva Elite and doesn't have a lock tab. There are no maker's marks on the case itself. I think it's just a generic case.

Ok, I think I know what you mean, Mill Creek used something similar for some of their recent releases.

You're quite right. I never even noticed that before!

Anyone know a link for replacement cases from Umbrella? I have had a string of bad luck and 3 out of 4 cases I've received recently are cracked and/or bent. Thanks.

When you guys get replacement cases, what do you do for labeling them? I thought about getting one of those Dymo label printers to stick a label on the spine, but I feel like it would be too narrow for the label and may come unstuck. I did find a free program that lets you make an insert to print off and put inside the plastic for a standard Blu-ray case and so far that has been working for me since I stupidly threw away a bunch of my Blu-ray cases. Now that I want to display them on my shelf I am missing like half of them.

Default Black cases alternatives

My first post here!
And asking for something in my first post is always a bad idea...
But I have to do so, because I'm desperate.

I'm not just a collector but also a media creator.
For my study project I need a Blu-Ray case that fits 2 discs AND a slim blooklet.
All of those I will create myself, print myself. But what I can't do myself is create a plastic Blu-Ray case... obviously.
So to make this project perfect I need a black case, that fits 2 discs and a Booklet, so it needs around 14mm I guess...
Now I know those exist. The American release of The Force Awakens is slimmer, but it's black and holds two discs. But I can't find any of those online, at no reseller... Alternatively I could go with yellow (the cover artwork is black and yellow) but the offer on yellow cases is even less...
Anyone ever saw those black cases in an online store?
And no... they shouldn't be the UHD version(with the UHD logo on top) because I know those exist...
Thanks!

Has anybody ever seen clear, standard sized Bluray cases in any store like Frys or Best Buy? Am I going to have to order online? (I only want one...)

Anyone by chance have or know of a place where I can buy a replacement 14mm Amray 3 disc case? (The style that Arrow Video uses). My last house on the left LE arrived today and had apparently taken a good shot as a piece was broken at the top of the spine. I'm having no luck finding a replacement. If anyone had a single disc case that had the spine arms to insert the tray to make it a 3 disc case I'd take that as well and just transfer the tray over. Any help locating either of these types of trays would be appreciated.
