Eco-case is a generic term, and multiple manufacturers are touting or being acclaimed for the green, eco-friendly features of their cases. Please specify if you're looking for any of the following:

12.5mm or 15mm Viva Eco-Box
11mm or 14mm Scanavo Vixible
Univenture Hi Def UniKeep Wallet (up to 6-disc capacity)

Using your logic, is it so hard to just give the guy the answer to his question rather than some snarky reply? Or better yet, just don't say anything.

Default Clear Blu-ray dimension cases?

Anyone know if any company sells clear (i.e., not blue tinted) blu-ray dimensioned cases that I can put a DVD in? Transitioning to BD has opened my eyes to just how much space a 'normal' DVD case wastes (both width and height). Obviously I could go with slim line clear DVD case, but that doesn't save me any vertical space (shelf height). With over 600 DVDs and 100 BDs, anything I can do to reduce the storage footprint will be helpful.

Ah, but isn't that the beauty of this thread, that in spite of the endless stream of many of the same questions being asked over and over again, with many of the same answers being given, that an occasional useful nugget of information can be found, such as the scouting report by rdodolak that Disc Makers has started carrying the double-disc Vortex cases.

Who doesn't find that their pulse quickens at the mere mention of someone asking the unspecific question, "Where can I find replacement BD cases?" To which someone will reply with the rote answer of: sleevetown.com, but then the original questioner will sheepishly post afterwards, "Er, I actually was looking for Viva Elites." Who wouldn't thrill at the drama of such an exchange of riveting posts?

And let's not forget the endless number of people who will run to wikipedia to find out who the hell Gladys Cravitz is.

Found a place link from AVS forums where you can get the slim 7 mm cases, but they are blu. http://www.checkoutstore.com/PREMIUM...-p/brcases.htm

Also found 6 disc replacement cases http://www.pcx.com.au/products/detail.asp?item=1456

I bought some Vortex double discs from an Ebay seler last week and they arrived pretty quick. Snap lock and silver Blu-ray logo.

Now if only I could find 3 disc Elite with the swiinging tray, because my X-Men cases are damadged. I've put them in replacement 2 disc cases, and put the Digital copies in a plain CD sleeve in the middle.

Default Blu-ray bookcase/shelf unit

Can anyone recommend a bookcase/shelf unit that fits blu-rays nicely? The adjustable shelfs on the ones I like for DVDs and CDs don't quite space out well for BDs.

Are the 7mm slims the same blu-ray cases that come with the Matrix Trilogy and Star Trek OMPC?

Having followed some of the earliest discussions of PCX on the forum, you would be doing the followers of this thread a disservice if you fail to mention the additional hoops that the site makes non-Australian purchasers go through in order to complete a transaction. Unless of course, you're eagerly waiting in anticipation for someone to post an angry reply about how much PCX sucks because they won't let U.S. customers pay for their orders with a credit card....

Well, they're not exactly the same. If these slim generic cases are in fact 7mm thick, then they're ever so slightly wider than slim 6mm Viva Elites. But that extra thickness is to be expected, since the 7mm cases appear to have booklet clips, a feature that is SADLY missing from the slim Elites. Otherwise, these generics are relatively comparable to the 6mm single-disc Viva Elite case.

I picked up this Leslie Dame product during DD's sale and the shelves space rather nicely for BDs. I have about 3/16" in clearance above the case before the next shelf.

http://www.deepdiscount.com/Mission-...VVviewprod.htm

It's a bit more than your average everyday shelving, but you're paying for a very good quality (above average) product. DD already has the best price on these products and with the discount from the last sale I picked it up for a steal.

What TL is wondering is if you can get bluray cases in different colors. Example would be the incredible hulk case is green.

Hey guys. I dont post here often but I think I can provide a deal for you Elite case lovers. I have 155 blurays and about half of them are in Elite cases. I much prefer the Amaray cases (Disney/Sony style), so if you are up for a square trade (I'll mail you my Elites for the same number of your Amarays) I'd be happy to. It'll save you from scouring the internet for cases and save me from spending 60 cents a case for my needs. Just PM me with however many you are looking for (provided you have the same amount of good condition Amarays to trade) and we can do business. Dunno if you guys are looking specifially for the newer, chrome-ish ones or the older print-screen cases, but I have both that I'm looking to get rid of. I was just going to buy from sleevetown and trash the Elites, but I'm glad I found this topic so you guys can have them.

e/ lol, thought I had actually posted here a few times before, apparently this is my first post :P

e2/ sry, US users only pls
