Thanks. Yeah, not having any luck anywhere. I'm trying to combine the Harry Potter series into a single with a custom cover, so I may just have to do 2 smaller ones. I have limited space and am looking for ways to conserve so my wife remains okay with things aesthetically!

Until an alternative is offered, you could always use the multi-disc DVD cases, and place a Blu-Ray banner at the top of the artwork. One of my old friends in the custom art community, Ric Easton, designed these a while back.

I have been slowly replacing all my awful eco cases and have bought single disc Elite and Vortex replacement cases. Now I have a problem, as I see that Disney has been using those awful 2 disc eco-lite Vortex cases for some of their recent releases and I can't find anyone that sells the ORIGINAL non eco-lite 2 disc Vortex cases like Sleeping Beauty came in. Does anybody have a link for a a company that still sells those cases, or are they just gone forever now?

Try this place, the ones I have gotten on the past were normal, but it was a while ago though. Call and ask, worth a shot

thanks!
will try them out.
btw: looks like maybe the Vortex 4 disc cases are not eco-lite, and so I could get those and just take out the middle flipper piece. so hopefully that is a solution. gotta get rid of these eco-lite cases. god they are just the worst.

thanks for that.
I see the 4 disc case, but they do not appear to have the old style Vortex 2 disc case--just the eco lite 2 disc case. I have been told the "original" 2 disc case is no longer made so not really surprised they don't have it.

look at the link you posted and look at the 2 disc cases.
Those are eco-lite cases. you can tell by the hollowed out places around the hub. They don't have complete holes like wagon wheel cases, but they are hollowed out. the original vortex cases don't have those lighter looking areas. I was told by someone that the Vortex company does not put the term "eco-lite" on the inside of the 2 disc cases anymore because they don't make the "regular" cases anymore.
So it is possible you don't realize that you are using what used to be called "eco-lite". Look at the 4 disc case and compare the sides with the sides of the 2 disc case and you will see the difference.
this is the 2 disc vortex case they sell--
http://stores.casetopia.com/media/00...09c3da44_m.jpg
look at the middle. see the "spoke" pattern. those lighter sections are the ones that have been hollowed out. they use to be filled in so that the whole case looked like the outer part in color. Because of the lack of plastic in the middle areas those areas appear lighter blue in color. the "old" cases---non eco-- had the darker color of the center hub for the entire case.

umm he didn't post a link, I did.

It would make sense that the standard Vortex cases have been discontinued since I've noticed other vendors including discmakers.com only offer the eco-lite cases now.

A little while back in this thread, I asked about the translucent/clear cases, looking for something to get Benjamin Button out of a blue case given it's a Criterion title. Well, I figured out the approach I want to take. Although the insert is a tad shorter, when put into a normal Criterion case, the spine at least looks alright still. So my plans are to either put it into a dual disc Amaray (like used by Eureka dual format editions), or possibly a dual disc Scanovo (do these exist?) and just cover the gap from having a smaller insert by putting a full insert sized piece of backing paper behind the stock art.

Casetopia now carries clear 1-disc Vortex cases which are the same size as the original case.

I'm looking for a UK 2 disc transparent blu-ray case with swing tray which Arrow is using.
I have bought Bicycle thieves but the tray in the case is broken.
I cannot find an online store where i can buy a case like that.
Does anyone know a place to buy this case?

well Vortex doesn't make the original 2 disc cases anymore so I guess they just have a special stock specifically for your orders. jk.
honestly I don't know why you would be getting the original cases because they don't offer them for sale anymore.
I'm just going to order the 4 disc ones.
I don't think they have eco'd --i.e. ruined--those cases yet.
thanks to everyone who offered help with my original question.

Unfortunately I don't think they ship outside of Korea.

Anyone know of places that sell two disc Scanovo cases? Same size as Criterion cases but have two disc trays? If not, anyone know where to get the translucent/clear dual Amaray cases that Eureka use?

I've saw all kinds of sellers offering Scanovo cases on ebay while I was looking for Vortex cases over the past few days.
