I wish the blockbusters that closed around here had done that. Still need about 40-50 cases for all the blu-rays I got from them when they were closing. They had said they didn't have any.

Can somebody help me with something?

Okay, i won't to get rid of my disney stacked blu-ray's. The 3 disc ones. It says they're "elite". So what should i get? I don't know the size of the stacked release it came with and i don't want to order the wrong one.

Also I want to get a 4 disc case for Despicable Me. It also says Elite in the current case. All 3 discs are in the flipper thing. But the digital copy is in a sleeve and i want to keep it but just not in the sleeve. So i want to upgrade the case.

and the last two are the 4 film favorites for Batman and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They both also say elite. They're 2 discs on each side (stacking). So i want to upgrade those to a case that will hold 4 discs.

Any help?

The 3 disc elites are the same size as the regular 1 and 2 disc elites (12mm) . I believe the 4 disc elites are slightly larger (15mm) ex. The Incredibles. So while you could get the 4 disc elites to eliminate the stacking problem you won't be able to fit the slipcovers, if you care about those.

Thanks, I'll try this in lieu of Casetopia.

I don't think such cases currently exist.

Discmakers is $43 shipped for 100 cases. Casetopia is about $70.

I purchased about 20 cases in March and the quality feels a bit flimsy compared to the last order I received. I'm guessing Viva Elite has changed their manufacturing process for the non-Eco cases, but they feel cheap. I don't really see a point to replace the standard Eco-cases at this point.

I was thinking of going with the Amaray cases that look to be a bit sturdier but I believe the spine on those are 14mm so they wouldn't even fit standard Region A BDs. Anyone have any luck with those?

My Other Self is talking about the quality of the cases from Casetopia. I fully understand Casetopia and Discmakers are different companies but it makes me worry that the quality of the Viva Elite cases from Discmakers could also be of slightly lesser quality than those in the past.

$43 is a lot for me for cases, period, so I am going to be real skiddish about buying cases if this is the case.

While $43 might be a lot I'd still rather have the newest version of the Viva Elites over a regular eco case any day. Plus there's always still the chance of getting the regular elites. Or you could just buy 25 for $15 shipped and see what you end up getting.

I talked to the owner at Megadiscstore and he said they were cutting back on the amount of plastic being used on the Viva cases. He showed me an old one and a new one. The difference was major!

While I don't really like that change, as long as there are no cut outs I can live with. I'll miss them being sturdy though

Looking to replace some cases.

This is the case that Disney uses for their 3 disc blu-ray:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-1-VIVA-E...item337f3ef220

And this is the 4-disc blu-ray case like Spy Kids: All the Time in the World, Transformers: Dark of the Moon 3D:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/320662240399...ht_2460wt_1018

In case I'm wrong please tell me. First time replacing cases. Don't want to order the wrong case.

Not sure about the 4 disc, but I'm sure that one is right since not a lot of companies use Vortex. The 3 disc case is correct though.

I did around March and they were like that. Pretty crappy imo. Plus they had done the cover art plastic to high. When you put in the coverart the top of the plastic covers it.

just a heads up, Casetopia has redesigned their site and have added some new stuff like single disc green and orange viva elite cases and are now selling 7, 8, 9 & 10 disc viva elites, but with all that, they have gone up big time on the shipping prices. they used to offer first class mail at a reasonable price below $3, now the cheapest option they have is $5.60. so if you order 1 case for .75, the shipping will still be $5.60. don't think i'll be ordering from them again anytime soon until they get a check on reality on those shipping prices.

Wow, a redesign is right ... not sure what I think of the new site. Looks like the only 4-disc Vortex case they now carry is 2-discs per hub (stacked) similar to the Viva Elite cases Disney has been using.
