Thanks for everyone's continued help detailing case types!
Which leads to.....minor OP Update: In addition to the general retailer links, I've added direct links to each case type (1-disc, 2-disc, etc) within each retailer for easier accessibility...not a huge thing, but trying to make finding/buying cases as easy as possible for everyone ![]() Last edited by Sussudio; 10-11-2009 at 02:45 AM. |

http://www.discmakers.com/shop/ItemD...D=BDR025-00001 The specs show these as being 6mm thick. Or did you get the standard size 12.5 mm thick cases from them? Where are they listed? Thanks Jon |

Posted this in one of the other threads yesterday. It's difficult keeping track of what threads are being used.

Ok... gotta admit I'm a little lost. I just need some single-disc cases, and I like the ones with the raised BD logo and the fold-over side. Are those the Vortex cases? Where's the best place to get them? The different types have me a little bewildered....
*edit* Are these the correct thickness? I'd like to get the order out today. http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/pro...iant%5Fid=2812 Last edited by aramis109; 10-30-2009 at 06:07 PM. |

I appreciate the feedback on the Vortex cases- there are a lot more options available now than the two or three back when I first ordered some spare cases. Also thanks for the thread. Last edited by aramis109; 11-11-2009 at 07:00 PM. Reason: changed 15 quantity to 25. |

I asked this in the custom cover art thread and didn't get much of a response, so I figured I'd ask it here, too, since it all kind of goes hand in hand.
I am interested in possible making some custom slip covers for some of my movies. I do not intend to do this for every movie. But I do keep my slip covers that come with some of my movies, and it kind of annoys me when a sequel comes with a slip cover, and the previous movie did not. They just look weird side by side. So, I would like to possibly make and print up custom slip covers for those instances. However, I am at a loss on how to do this. I.E., the measurements, what material to use, how to cut/fold it to look right, etc. If anyone has any ideas or advice on this, that would be awesome. |

Anyone in Canada bought cases from sleeve town?
I just want to know how much the shipping was for 10 cases? Another question, are the cases from MegaDiscStore, elite cases? Thanks Last edited by boxterduke; 10-30-2009 at 08:07 PM. |

Dynamo - Sounds like a fun project
![]() Boxter - In regards to the Mega Disc Store cases, zooming in looks like they don't have the security latch on the side, so they very well may be Elite...Primitive might know more so I'll shoot him a PM ![]() ![]() |

Other features in the photo that tell you that you are NOT dealing with an Elite case are the disc hub button, which doesn't have the four inward-pointing arrows, and the less-prominent "shark fin" molded to the inside of the case spine. Shark fins are designed to minimize "floaters," which are when discs come loose during shipment, either through improper packaging or the breaking of teeth on the disc hub. Anyhow, I haven't bought cases from this site, so I cannot attest as to what types of cases they are actually selling. |

I ordered some DVD cases from sleevetown and received a number of them with some nicks and scratches on the part that holds the cover art. Thanks |
