I have looked everywhere all to no avail. Shipping from the US is unrealistic.

So I figure it's about time to share as I've got mine secured. For those looking for black viva elites to replace the eco cases from the new Halloween deluxe set, they can be had! The original matrix blu-ray (and HD-DVD) box set had normal size cases and not the slim ones. The 2 -disc bonus "matrix experience" came in a 2-disc black viva elite, lacking only the silver blu-Ray logo up top. I was able to obtain a few. A few of these seperately and just ditched the discs. Also, there is a 3 disc "Best Picture Collection" featuring Crash, Hurt Locker and No Coun try for old Men that comes in a black 3 disc viva elite. Picked up a few of these from the local used movie chain and now I'm good to go on replacing and modifying my Halloween box set. Its a lot of work and re-selling of unneeded discs yes but it IS possible. Good hunting y'all

Are you sure about that? I purchased the Matrix box set when it was first released and they used the slim cases.

There was a very early version released like I described. Along with an hd-dvd set that was very similar. I lucked out and bought a few of the "matrix experience" dvds (but in black two disc viva elites) from a discount liquidation store. They're available on Amazon too, listed under "matrix experience: 2 disc databank" just make sure of the case type if buying used
