The latch on Vortex cases can actually be locked down on the inside, or easily removed if you choose. I prefer Vortex because the cases aren't as flimsy, and the spines are flatter. I just wish they'd make them to hold more than 6 discs.

Can anyone tell me where I can find replacement cases for the new releases of Vikings Seasons 1 and 2 as well as 24: Live Another Day.

I have been searching for these everywhere, because they allow you to create your own "slim" 4 disc cases. They have the hooks on the inside spine, and then a hub on either side of the inner case. You can remove the swing hub and replace it with a two disc swing hub. Wallah! Slim 4 Disc case.

These three releases are the only ones that I know of that have this 3 disc configuration. The cases is made by Viva Elite, and it looks like 20th Century is using them on their current 3 disc releases.

Question - Any CLEAR 2-disc (single width, not Criterion wide) cases? Again, for Halloween boxed set to replace the eco cases. Don't really want to do the glued on hubs thing, and blue looks weird given how the set looks.

Almost thinking of replacing certain ones with orange, in an alternating pattern (H1/H2 black, H3/H4 orange, H5/H6 black, H20/Res orange, RZH1/RZH2 black), obviously leaving the 2-disc ones in black. It would still leave some single disc titles in the black ecocases, but a pattern looks a little better than random.

But if there's clear cases, I can do them all that way. Really, only black/orange/clear cases will look appropriate for the set IMO.

You're best bet is probably eBay since it appears anything other than blue is becoming harder to find. Casetopia used to sell the clear cases but those have been removed along with the green cases too.

Thanks. I wonder why they're becoming harder to find. Did they stop making them?

Anyways, to size things up, I placed 10 Vortex cases in the box, and it's almost loose enough to put another disc in the set. I knew these were thinner than the Viva Elite cases, but I didn't realize it was by that much.

It's really too bad Viva and Vortex cases couldn't have gone to just flat black.

My guess would be not enough people ordering them but at least MegaDiscStore still carries them. I noticed they list them on eBay but don't have them on their web site. From what I've heard the minimum order quantities for custom colors is pretty high

I've only seen the Viva Elite clear cases available through a South Korean eBay seller a year or so ago and that's it.

Anyone know the best place to order 4 disc Elites? I need the ones that are hub less on both sides, hold the disc on the center tray (I guess that is what it is called), and are slightly thicker then standard releases.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Do they no longer make Premium brand 15mm 4 disc cases anymore?
I have a anime (Steins Gate) and the case is cracked and the teeth for on of the hubs is broken so it falls out. I want to replace it but it seems that 22mm is all that is being sold right now. I measured it to confirm that it is 15mm and not 21/22mm.

The only 4-disc 15mm cases I've ever seen have been the Viva Elites.

Funi has a bad habit of using generic ones sadly. This one is 15mm and it looks similar to the Premium Brand.

Hello,

I need some help, I want to find a 12mm(regular sized I think that's right) that's clear, and hold 3 or more discs, 3 would be perfect, but I can only seem to find one and two disc ones. Please help, if I need to buy a movie to make it work find. I was hoping to find a 3 disc 3d clear case that doesn't say 3D on the top. But I can't seem to find a movie that fits that. I know I've seen one. But whatever you can find will help, cause I'm at a loss.

The original Target-exclusive Black Swan release came in a three-disc, clear case that was the normal 12mm width.

Can't seem to find it for sale anywhere the Canadian version of the Shawn of The Dead/Hot Fuzz/Worlds Ends trigloy has a clear case at least on Amazon.ca I may have to get that, unless someone can help me find the target Black Swan for sale somewhere.

They're Viva Elite, so they're the same as most normal blu-rays. They're not eco cases, at least.
