Ordered some White Viva Elite cases from MegaDiscStore and had the same experience as my last order as mentioned above.

A throwback to the white DVD cases used on the original Disney releases.

I have one more commitment left on my Movie Club account, and am planning a big purchase next 60% sale then closing my account. Considering the Herbie sequels (only have the original), but can’t decide which to get. I remember them being hit and miss, but it’s been so long Imcant remember which ones i enjoyed. Guess I could always get them all and sell any I don’t like on eBay.

Excited to pick up 20,000 Leagues and Black Hole though!

Of the three classic sequels, I would say that Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo is the best. It combines a fun auto race with a couple of bumbling jewel thieves who hide a diamond in Herbie's gas tank. It's the only sequel with Dean Jones, plus you get the wonderfully hilarious Don Knotts as his sidekick. Plus, Herbie falls in love with a sexy sports car!

I am so impressed with how this looks. The white of the case is just the perfect foil for the bright yellow. Do you mind if I copy from you? I went to their ebay store and was a little disappointed to find that they have no special pricing listed for a 50 or 100 count purchase. Since you obviously bought quite a few of them, were you able to get any type of bulk discount? And did you buy the single disc cases, or, since they are somehow cheaper, buy the 3-disc cases and remove the interior trays? I'm also curious as to why the single case is described as "pure white" and the triple case as "solid white." I've sent an email to them asking these questions, but if you have time, I would like to have your input. Regardless, a great idea and that combination really pops!

Not at all, feel free to do the same, but thanks for asking. They should get back to you about custom quantities other than what they currently have listed.

I ended up getting the 3-disc cases and just removed the insert since it ended up not really being a cost difference. This way I have the inserts if I ever ended up wanting to use them. The single disc cases also have the tabs that support the tray inserts so I'm not sure if they just remove the trays for the single disc case orders before shipment or not. In terms of "pure white" and "solid white" the color should be the same, I'm guessing it's just the terminology that was used at the time of listing.

Thanks much for the response. I figured that they were the same cases and colors, but it's nice to have it confirmed by someone who actually has them in hand. I also heard from them this afternoon and they said to submit my zip code for a bulk discount inquiry. If a discount is dependent on postage expense, considering they're in Canada and I'm in Ohio, then I'm probably up the creek. Still, I like these well enough to buy a hundred or so. Is there a trick to their website though!? No "submit" or "save" button when trying to create a new account so I haven't been able to create one. Also no "send" or other such button when trying to email them through their "contact us" page. I've tried with multiple browsers.

I called them but think they were closed since it was late for Ontario, and went to VM. Just wondering if there's a known workaround to get their 1990s website to work... and while I'm wondering about their site sophistication, no one's had their credit card stolen after using their site??

Yeah those are hard to find. I just get the double ones since you can still get those easy and that way if I need a double case I have them.

No reply to my question, and their site is still problematic. I contacted them via email and after a couple days they said their webmaster made some fixes and it should work now. But found some time to make some purchases and for the last couple days it now just goes to a blank page when trying to login or create an account. Are they going out of business? It makes no sense that no new accounts or logins could be happening for more than a week.

It looks like the login for the Canadian page works, but not the US. You'll likely have to contact them to have them fix the broken US login page. It's likely most of their sales come from either the Canadian side, eBay, Amazon, or a combination of all three.

Best place for Vortex non-eco lite cases in March 2020? Or, worse comes to worst, Vortex eco lites themselves?

Ordered a used BD pressed in 2011 on eBay. Came today, and I could tell as soon as I picked up the padded envelope that it was in an old-school viva elite. Man, those were nice. Even the non-Eco boxes are thin and “squishy” these days.

It’s a three disc case to boot!

I have five US sized cases I need to replace. I'm not sure if they are 11 or 12.5mm (a quick measurement says 11mm). A couple are Blue Underground.

Anyone know which ones I should be going for and where in the UK can you get them from?

Thanks rdodolak! I reached out to them and though it took them a little over a week working on it, they did finally get their US site fixed. I got an order back from them last week, once it was fixed. Great cases!

Does anybody have any recommendations on what's the best case, or cases, to use on The Office Complete Series? It's a 38 disc set, and the original packaging is complete garbage, practically unusable. Worst packaging I've ever seen.

I'm hoping to move them into a better disc case, with artwork if I can pay somebody for custom artwork. Its either that option, or move the discs to a disc binder, which I'd hate to do.

Does anyone know where to get those huge multi-pack cases? For Blu-ray I am talking about something like what the Farscape Complete Series re-release came in. Or for DVDs something like the complete How I Met Your Mother repackaging or the complete Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
