Thanks for sharing! I would love some of these, but it’s over $20 just to ship 20 cases. That’s unfortunate.

So it seems like the only way to get Purple cases is to buy one of the Prince films?

(I already own Purple Rain, but I saw someone give a purple case to Moonlight and I fell in love with the idea)

Sure seems like it. I've been looking for various colored blu-ray cases online and it seems it's impossible to buy empties in the US now other than the outrageously-priced bluraysforeveryone.com.

So, I just wanted to weigh in on the Casetopia thread going on here. I had ordered from them prior to the pandemic and (although it took a long while) I did receive my order and was very happy.

Now that the pandemic is in full swing it is a completely different story...

I placed orders in April. I tried emailing them on 2 different occasions over the course of a month and no response. Then I tried reaching out to them by phone - which is futile because they don't answer and the voicemail box is full and hangs up on you.

At the end of May I was so exacerbated that I went online and did a search about Casetopia reviews. It brought up a multitude of Better Business Bureau complaints! The BBB currently rates Casetopia an F (although they are not an accredited business)! So in the end I had to file a BBB report against them and after a few weeks they finally refunded me the purchase prices. What a waste of time and what a joke!

It's so unfortunate because they have the best selection of Bluray cases on the web right now - but their business practices, response/shipping times, and customer service is absolutely abysmal!

I'll have to check out Mega Disc Store (GoodWoodeShop now).

I'm annoyed. My 2016 Purple Rain came in a blue eco case.

It's what I've been using recently. They're right outside of Toronto, so I usually get my cases within 48 hours of payment. I use their eBay store for my White cases, but their website is cheaper for other cases (for me, anyway). I just wish they would let me order just 10 of the 6mm double disc cases rather than 20. :haha:

So this is going to be a long shot, but... does anyone know if it's possible to still track down HD DVD cases? Preferably Viva, but generic is fine. I'm finally unboxing the ones I had stored in my basement since a move, and want to get them all in uniform cases rather than a mix of Viva and Vortex.

I too put in an order at Casetopia 4 days ago. My order still says "processing." I really wish I would have checked this thread out before I placed the order.

Casetopia cancelled an ebay purchase I made for 10 - 10 disc cases - horrible vs past experience years ago. I wish they would turn it around as they used to be good!

I have about 150 of these cases in my attic. I even have the hard to find multi disc cases used for Blade Runner and Planet Earth. For a time I had used them to hold my Dreamcast games but I now use 14mm black blu ray cases instead. If eBay isn’t an option for you maybe I can help.

I've not had any issues with Casetopia in the past. I haven't placed an order in a few years and just did the other day and it has already shipped.

I've had mixed success and haven't completely given up on Casetopia, but I can understand how some folks have had enough.

I don't remember anything particularly bad (or good) about my first couple orders, but those were several years ago. My next-to-last order sat in "Processing" state for quite a while before I remembered that I'd placed an order and sent an email. In that case, I had to resend the payment info (and another reminder email after that), but the order eventually shipped.

For my most recent order I used PayPal , reasoning that the 'direct' credit card payment may have added the layer of delay to the previous order. That order also sat in "Processing" for about a week, but when I sent the inquiry email I got a response and the order shipped soon after.

So, even the best of my most recent transactions have needed me to send at least one follow-up email after placing the order. I can deal with that due to Casetopia's selection, but I will check out the selection at the other shop (GoodWoode?) the next time I need to order cases.

Just wrote that to UHD cases forum, but copy my good experience with anoli-shop.de also here in case it helps someone.
I ordered from them on 12th - and received it in two days.

They have wide selection - I took 11mm BD cases to replace eco-cases from the US and other broken European cases; 14mm BD cases for the UK discs (+ "Amaray Blu Ray Hülle Transparent" is the same case that use Arrow, Eureka or BFI).

Also 4K UHD cases are good: from 1 to 3 discs - even though only in 14mm Amaray.
I had 3-discs US Martian UHD (which is 11mm) - and replace it with this one: well, paper artwork is bit smaller and the title does not fit - unsurprisingly - on the spin precisely, but I would say that it is ok (surely better than broken US case ). Also used that for 3-discs US Goodfellas UHD - and at least got rid of that US "2-discs" aka "4-discs" case.

Only shame there are not 11mm 4K UHD cases or Scanovo (for Criterion). Otherwise there are also wide unusual cases for 4, 5, 6 or 8 discs.

They ship across Europe. The shipping is quite high - 12,9 €, but as I wrote, it comes fast by courier at least. Plus, the prices of the items are good, so if you take more pieces, it is not that bad. The prices on ebay were higher or the selection was not that wide + you do not have to wait or pay for customs from the US (as from Casetopia).

If your country is not in the list, try to write them - they will add it. I would definitely recommend them!
