Thanks. Six weeks after placing my order, I finally got an email with an apology (but no explanation) for the delay. I got the shipping notice soon after, and the cases arrived the next week.

I have 25% of the entire collection finished now. at this point, 26/540 have further need of replacement if I want to be a completest. I do. Most of those are just black 4K Viva Eco-Box upgrades. I have found myself using Viva Elite cases mostly. I have almost as many Amaray Vortex case varieties, but have mostly been using them when there is some proper slipcover or artwork fitment issues. There are some oddball cases in there. No idea who makes them. It would have been nice I found more 3+ disc cases in the hoard, but I am just adding them to the list as I go. Also, I probably have absorbed nearly 25 DVD's into the collection as custom combo disc sets. Shelf space reduction has been minimal.

I finished my collection. Some cases will still need to be ordered. I used up all of the Viva cases, but that left me with these cases remaining.

These cases at least are solid. The 500+ Viva eco cases with holes are going to a thrift store for resale. If someone wants the left over cases listed above I will send the entire box. Expect $20 in shipping if I can get it out media mail, so it would be $40 for all in total. I will wait 30 days until I donate them too.

It's pretty bad when you the customer have to send a company an email asking them to ship your order. I've only placed two orders with them and that's what i had to do each time after over a week of placing the orders and then it's immediately shipped.

This is good to know. I ordered a handful of cases last week and while I was prepared to wait a bit, knowing that they basically won't ship my order at all until I follow up is useful info. I'll shoot them an email next week.

Anyone know of any place selling black 4K case for 8 or 9 discs? My 4k Predator case is broke and won't close and I'd like to add the non-DNR scrubbed Blu of Predator to it as well.

I second the motion for megadiscstorecom. I've ordered from them at least 10 times. Ships right away and typically takes between 7 to 10 days for delivery. Never a broken case received.

The only caveat to keeping the cost reasonable is to buy one of their pre-set packages (not a selection of individual cases). Prices are decent this way and shipping is included.

They are a Canadian company, but ship from Niagara, NY.

For megadiscstore there's actually 2 store fronts. I looked them up a few months back and wanted to place an order. It states they are in Ontario, Canada same as me but for some reason it wouldn't allow me to do an order. There was some sort of error that they ship to the US which was very bizarre. I emailed them and found out they have 2 store fronts, one for the US and the other for Canada. The web address is almost the same, just a slight change, so I had to go through and rebookmark the items I wanted and placed an order through the Canada store front. Got the items and in good condition. I've been thinking about doing another order at some point.

The US store front is http://goodwoodeshop.com/
and the Canadian store front is http://goodwoodeshop.com/ca/

So you have to be careful when you bookmark product pages and when you place an order whether you're on the US or Canada side.

I think viva elite only comes in 1 size (not including the “slim” version).

I made my first blu ray case order from Severin the other day for their black cases. They shipped on Tuesday and arrived yesterday. Not sure if it's because of the amount I ordered (23 including 3 double disc cases totaling $123) or if that's how fast they usually arrive but man that was sure fast! All were in great condition too.

I've bought several of these and they actually hold 6 discs despite the name, 3 discs will comfortably fit in each hub.

Also note if you plan to use them to replace 4-6 disc Viva Elite cases, these cases are actually slightly thicker, despite being listed at 14mm and the Viva Elite cases at 15mm. The artwork will fit in perfectly, but you won't be able to use a slipcover or fitted slipcase/box.
