I know this is a familiar story to many who follow this thread. I placed two orders with Casetopia Media Supply in the month of April. The first order was placed 98 days ago on 04/20/21. The second order was placed 91 days ago on 04/27/21. Authorizations were processed to my credit card. Immediately after both orders were confirmed a note stating "This order has already shipped or has reached the final stages of processing, therefore this order is no longer editable" was displayed on my invoices. This is clearly a false statement. Three months and counting to process and ship two orders is beyond excessive. Casetopia has not replied via email to multiple requests for shipment. Attempts to reach them by phone is also impossible. All calls go to an automatic voicemail box that is always full. Their poor customer support and lack of accessibility is totally unacceptable. After reading the complaints on the Better Business Bureau's website, I've noticed many customers who placed orders after mine have already received their shipments. Here are some examples of other customer's orders and outcomes. Order placed on 4/26 shipped on 6/4, Order placed on 5/12 shipped on 6/5, Order placed on 5/27 shipped on 6/6, Order placed on 5/23 shipped on 7/1. Using the Covid Pandemic as an excuse for shipment delays is simply not true. Apparently the only way to get your order shipped is to file a complaint with the BBB. I filed a complaint today so we will see if this strategy works. It's obvious Casetopia can't conduct their business in a fair, professional and legitimate manner!

Calls to Casetopia Media Supply have resulted in receiving a recorded message indicating that the voicemail box is full. BBB staff visited the location of the company and did not find any signage at their location. BBB will continue to monitor to determine if the company is operational. Are there any good casetopia alternatives? I've also been waiting nearly 4 months on an order and no response from emails I've sent asking for updates. But I still need some replacement cases.

It's a shame eco cases are becoming the norm, even for 4K. Nothing worse than paying $30 for a 4K movie and it's an eco case.
![]() Also I went to a thrift shop recently and their tiny blu section had so many movies with holes poked in the artwork because of the eco cases. |

Here's an update on my recent post concerning Casetopia Media Supply. My complaint was received by the Better Business Bureau on 07/26/21. The BBB issued Casetopia a deadline of 08/11/21 to respond. As of today, 08/12/21, no response was received from Casetopia after two notices. This lack of action proves Casetopia does not respect their customers or appreciate their business. They continue to ignore all attempts to work toward a resolution. From my own personal experience, please take my advice and avoid Casetopia at all costs. Do not allow them to continue to operate in such a despicable manner. Support another retailer that truly appreciates you and values your business.
The following edited information was provided to me by the Better Business Bureau. ****Thank you for taking the time to inform us of your experience with this business. We have accepted your complaint and have forwarded it to the business for their response. We have asked the business to reply promptly, but some disputes may take longer than others to conclude. Please be patient as we work to ensure that your concerns are addressed. The BBB will make every effort to obtain a response from the business, but some businesses simply do not ever contact us. The BBB is not an enforcement agency. We cannot compel a business to respond. However, failure to do so may result in a negative impact on their BBB rating, which may drive away future customers. I just recently had to do the same BBB complaint for Casetopia, it was settled. I really hate that cases are becoming scarce this way, because I often have to replace them for various reasons.
Anyone know of a TV show in 4K that has an 8-disc case? I need one for the Jumanji trilogy (4K, BD and 3D for the last two) Also, anyone know of a 5-disc steelbook that's not the thick one? |
